Honestly I am so fine with dealing Buff and Ladd.... They are beyond brutal. Half the games they look disinterested and they want HOW much money handed to them. We are making them look good. They should not be a basement team... They likely are 2nd best team in that division. They would not make the playoffs in the central though. I have watched a lot of them this year... We are making them look very good, and we are not a very good team... They are not very good either, but they are a better team then us

Weird that with largely the same roster, they're having such a bad season. Thought they were a very strong club last year.

They bled all their depth and their top guys are not young enough to soak so many minutes anymore. Guys like Bieksa and Stewart are not nearly good enough to replace the Beauchemin's and Beleskey's. Still shocking to see Getzlaf with 3 goals in 33 games.

Their situation is not that different than ours, like us their GM sold everyone a bill of goods about "youth movement" and let veteren depth players walk or traded them. Like us with Stempniak they have a player in Palmieri lighting it up for the devils

They are not playing well either. But I look at that roster and see Rakell 3rd in forward points shows the lack of depth. I really really like Rakell dating back to before the draft (really wanted Jets to snag him in early 2nd round) but he should not be that high on your team's scoring list. And I've always felt Ducks were big reg season overachievers as seen by their complete lack of success in playoffs.
