The league actually has an Anti-Maurice roster rule, as it should be known :

"The roster limit for a American Association club is 23 players. An additional player may be on the disabled list during the regular season. Of those 23 players, a maximum of five may be veterans and minimum of five must be rookies. The remaining players will be designated limited service players and of those LS players only six (6) may be LS-4. Two of these six players may be LS-5."

What an absolutely great night for the city. Back to Back champions! Park was packed last night ! I arrived late - just in time to HEAR the bats lighting it up in the bottom of the 2nd didn't actually get up the stairs and see the field until the Top 3rd lol. Fortunately had 9 more coming.
