Jets are just too fast and too physical for a team like the Sabres to handle and it caught up to them in the 3rd.

They are definitely physical. And have been for a lot of years.

Sabres D had trouble pinching successfully in the 3rd. Quite a few odd man rushes allowed as a result. I figured one was going to eventually kill them.

There was a play in the second period along the boards in the Winnipeg zone. Mittelstadt raced towards the puck and it appeared he and the Jets defender would arrive to the puck at about the same time. Mittelstadt pulled up. It reminded me of Kyle Orton sliding short of the sticks on a that 4th down play in Denver.
