I normally wait for schedule release, but it's mid January and nothing so far. So I figure it's time to start this.

Some recent news:
Re-Signed RG Patrick Neufeld, LB Kyrie Wilson, DE Willie Jefferson, LB Shayne Gauthier
Signed WR Dillon Mitchell from Edmonton
WR Ontaria "Pokey" Wilson signs with NFL's New York Jets, Bombers retain his CFL rights through end of 2025 season

I just want a real backup... but id be surprised if we dont head into the season with the same crew...

Figure it will be one last shot at the cup with most of them.

I don’t agree, but I also get it.

They had a good chance to win it all last season. Just get Richie Hall, and that BS passive defense the hell away from this team.

Happy to try someone other than Buck, who too often seemed to forget he was allowed to use Oliviera.

I haven't seen this independently but a friend sent this to me...

Looks like we (the fans that is) get SCREWED on scheduling this year. 3 goddamn home Thursday games, 2 late October home games. This schedule freaking sucks.

Bringing thomas and neufeld back is not the offseason i was hoping for... even wilson is a big meh for me - we have better players waiting... or had...

I want to believe theyre all at league minimum but theyre not...

At some point shouldnt we pay an OL..
My hope is that they'll spend some money on a RT, maybe a guy that can slide over to LT in 26 if Bryant retires.

As mentioned Dobson is looking for a big payday. With Gabe Wallace waiting in the wings and to a lesser extent Tui Eli still hanging around, I don't think they really need to blow the budget on a guard.

CFL meetings produce plenty of three-down scuttlebutt
4) Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea, when asked about Adam Bighill’s future in Winnipeg, noted some of those conversations might still need to be had. I’ve been told that Bighill won’t be offered a contract ahead of free agency, putting his CFL future in a bit of doubt. Bighill has been a staple on Winnipeg’s defence, spending half of his 12 CFL seasons with the Blue and Gold, winning two of his three Most Outstanding Defensive Player awards (2019,2021) on the Prairies. Bighill is 36 and is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered in the Labour Day Classic. The Bombers have also signed Tony Jones, who played admirably in relief of Bighill last season. Bighill vowed to return to playing when asked during Grey Cup week, so we’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
Gotta think Bighill wants one more playing season, even if it's not in Winnipeg? Don't think he would go the Mike Miller route just yet, though I do think he'll end up on Bombers coaching staff eventually.
