Bryant is one of the vets who hasn't fallen off a cliff despite being 39 by time next season starts. Not what he once was, but is still very much a starter caliber OL.

Totally fine with this. It's the guys that are clearly cooked (Bighill, Nuefield) that concern me coming back.

This was probably the easiest signing in the offseason for the Bombers, he was going nowhere, next stop Bombers ROH when his playing career is over.

I’m not against LaPo. He ran a decent offense with a trash QB.

Happy for Buck and happy to move on from him. With that said, it could turn into a "careful what you wish for" situation depending on who the Bombers hire as the new OC.

Hall is the bigger issue imo.

I could have accepted Buck being back this season. Hall even after being “demoted” very clearly had a strong influence. Good riddance.

In fairness, LaPo was a pretty solid OC. It was largely thanks to him they survived the Nichols injury when they had to pivot to Streveler and then install Collaros really fast.

Wouldn't hate it as a fallback though i think i would prefer new blood.

Yes, they took promotions. To other teams. Previously they turned down offers/were not looking.

Hate losing Goveia. That's a big loss. I hope the Bombers have a candidate with some good connections/eye for talent down south to step in as the new assistant GM/scout.

Goveia was one of two Assistant GMs the Bombers had. Goveia was only responsible for Canadian side things. Our American operations (scouting, recruiting, etc) was/is all handled by the other Assistant GM, Danny McManus.

Yeah, I know. I should have clarified a follow-up about McManus who I thought might be leaving as well. He is in charge of our American scouting. Anyways big loss with Goveia.
