I never understand why fans of the other team think it's a good idea to post on the other teams forums...

Read what I said - Winnipeg has been impressive for the last five years. I came here to compliment them. Plus, I have a soft spot for O'Shea after his time in Toronto.

that's not all you said and I really don't care what was said anyways

I merely corrected an incorrect claim about the officiating. Other than that, I complimented your team because they deserve it.

As for your comment about being a fan of another team - I am an Argos fan so I hate Hamilton, but I don't have an issue with any other team in the league. I like them all, watch them all, and appreciate them all. No need for you to be a baby about it when someone legitimately came here to compliment the Bombers on their incredible run. Yeah not winning will hurt for a while, and that is to be expected, but in time Winnipeg fans will appreciate what an amazing run they've had.

I was at the game today. It was probably the worst sports moment since the Jets left. Just a second half collapse. Being remembered for losing 3 as opposed to winning 2 is a real kick to the head. Lots of Bombers fans who came a long way and spent a lot of money to get here and stay for a few days.

When the threw the ball the first four downs they had I was concerned. I was at the 2011 game and Buck Pierce was the quarterback. Ironically people after that game were complaining about the first half play calling. Buck I think took over the play calling in the second half of that game and put a few points on the board.

Quite simply the Argos made more plays when needed than the Bombers. It's that simple.

Management was able to turn the defence over with a fresh influx of young guys. The offensive line will need the same.

A quarterback will be needed sooner rather than later. We will need a quarterback who can play if Zach can't get it done.

It's gonna be a long dark rainy winter here in Vancouver.

Ready to turn my attention to the Jets which I haven't covered much due to the crazy Bombers season.

Bombers fans were sensational this season, spoke to people who were at the west final and spoke how great the atmosphere is.

first of all posting the stats of the penalties doesn't mean jack shit, second of all I didn't ask for your history of being a fan, 3rd of all stay on your own god damn board...

Going to grey cup was a really cool experience. My first one live. Lots of fans from around the league. Bumped into a few who want the cfl expanded to Atlantic. Not sure where they were from forgot to ask.

Great vibes from bomber fans until the second half breakdown.

Didn’t find officials were calling it both ways but thought to complain about.

Collaros a warrior for coming back but he was so bad post injury and lost us the game. Some poor calls by buck too.

D was great. O was not. Similar to last few years.

Great live experience but Wish we won though. Sigh. Lots of sad faces bomber fan wise, lots of happy faces - didn’t realize how many people happy bombers lost.

Same here. The crowd was mostly pro Blue Bombers. When the game was over with several minutes to spare, about 50% remained.

I also thought it was very cool seeing the mix of jerseys and people from across the country.

It absolutely hailed down when I left the stadium.

It's kinda nuts that a team can win back to back Grey Cups in a 5 year span and somehow be labelled as generational chokers. And yet it's not entirely wrong.

Make no bones about it, regardless of what they do in 2025; the window for this team has now closed. You can outrun father time for a while (shit i thought they were pushing it this year) but it comes for us all eventually. Collaros was showing signs of decline and outside of one good game against Edmonton, he really wasn't it. Neufeld is washed, Bryant's decline has been more graceful, but even still he's showing signs of age. Bighill is beyond fried physically, yet he'll be back in 2025 and O'Shea will probably hand him his starting spot back. Willie Jefferson is really the only guy to defy it, at least for now.

If it was just a Collaros that was declining you could absolutely roll with a quick retool. But when it's that many guys, and many of which are in key positions that are hard to replace? Forget about it.

The coaching staff also deserves a heaping plate o' scorn for how the game played out.

If i didn't know any better, i'd swear to god i was watching a f***ing Miami Dolphins game for how flagrantly they ignored the run when it showed signs of cooking. Brady Oliveria won MOP for a reason. Use him. Instead Buck Pierce decides to jack up the ball on deep shots all game when a) The Argos defense is pretty good downfield and b) your QB has been quite frankly awful for most of the season.

O'Shea let his loyalty get the better of him. Collaros screws up his hand late. You watch him on the sideline and can willingly see he cannot grip the ball. Instead of putting in the admitted raw, but healthy backup you decide "screw it, put a glove on and work through even though you never wear one so it doesn't do squat" Like what?

Maddening and probably the biggest sting of the three losses. Just awful all around.

Do you really think that fair reffing is when penalties are equal in number? Fair calling is when refs flag actual penalties when they occur on a consistent basis. Disciplined teams like the Bombers take way fewer penalties, and I've seen games where a 100+ yard penalty differential was still biased against the team with fewer penalties because the undisciplined team still got away with more illegal plays.

But it was a smaller factor in this game by the end... The bigger factor was not using our MOP... This was an unforced error. It's like we threw out our playbook from last game and went completely vanilla - no misdirection, no sweeps and almost no playaction. So bizarre.

Another factor was having our actual backup QB injured on the sidelines due to a Rider player who should have been suspended/kicked out of the league long ago for injuring multiple QB's. Streveler could have helped.

Another factor was special teams play. Toronto's D was also solid with several knockdowns, though our receivers uncharacteristically dropped a few as well.

Hope we see some changes next year, but I'm not holding my breath.

Damnit, just damnit. Don't understand why we never ran the ball and i don't understand why we only rushed 3 all game against their backup QB . Great to be in 5 straight Cups but we need to win one of them again.
