bombers didnt start winning untyil buck came down out of the press box down to the sidelines......my suspicionj is collaros doesnt like rolling out and doing the play opton play...he wants to sit back in the pocket and go for the easy long ball...they did the ply option against sak and it wasnt even close...3 grey cups in a row...how many first downs did collaros make....sorry but collaros doesnt have it to win the big one any more....look at the rings he has already!!???

might be a coinsideration!!
so were starting a conspiracy that callaros is the reason for the shitty play calling... rofl, good thing is I don't think anyone takes you seriously after wishing he would get injured and put on the 6 game and only showed up during the 1 loss in our last 11 games

This sucks. Again. Zach is gonna take another run at it with the Bombers, let's get that out of the way. This will happen.

I'm gonna take some time again. I don't feel cheated out of this one though, so that's something.
Whatever it is, Walters needs to get O'Shea to accept changes to his staff. Promoting Younger was the right call to keep him, but the stink of Hall was all over this game. This is three straight Grey Cups with Collaros looking pedestrian, which is worse considering he had a great game in the Western Final, and Pierce has helmed the gameplan for all three. Those two have got to be the first to go. Then get Collaros some help on the offensive line again - not Lofton, for god's sake. What's the worst that can happen, losing in four straight Grey Cups?

sorry aint wasting my time...three times is a charm they say....changes are needed and it will be running it back once again next season with the vets because of the grey cup being in wpg....sask will win is my money on it next year

think they would have learned their lesson after the last 2 cups...but no

Thanks for weighing in, surixon. Can always count on you. Anyone else? @None, you and I go way back, I’d love to hear from you. Sorry I’m a few beers deep.

Also, my brother helpfully informs me, Collaros has 0 TDs and 6 INTs in the last three Grey Cup games. Everyone picked us, again. And we lost. What a legacy.

Has to the the doritos. MSG, disodium guanylate, and disodium inosinate are basically crack on a tortilla chip covered in cheese powder.

Going to grey cup was a really cool experience. My first one live. Lots of fans from around the league. Bumped into a few who want the cfl expanded to Atlantic. Not sure where they were from forgot to ask.

Great vibes from bomber fans until the second half breakdown.

Didn’t find officials were calling it both ways but thought to complain about.

Collaros a warrior for coming back but he was so bad post injury and lost us the game. Some poor calls by buck too.

D was great. O was not. Similar to last few years.

Great live experience but Wish we won though. Sigh. Lots of sad faces bomber fan wise, lots of happy faces - didn’t realize how many people happy bombers lost.

Once more so I've got one for every Collaros interception.

That's game folks.

2 for 2 last weekend. 0 for 2 this weekend.

Can't see how this team can even get back to the Game next season. Need a new OC and a new DC but we'll get neither.

The consensus is that Buck Pierce has some sort of brain injury.
So, what do we think is the most plausible here? 🤔

A) Buck Pierce has some sort of brain injury
B) Buck Pierce is a double-agent working for the Argos to disrupt our game plan
C) It was a five-year-old child’s Make-A-Wish Foundation wish to call plays in the Grey Cup
D) Buck Pierce sucks at calling Grey Cup games

Listening to O'Shea he knew Buck couldn't grip the ball and elected to put him back in.

It reminds me of him dressing those two receivers who could barely move last year.

I really do question if he's capable of putting the personal relationship aside and making the tough call. You have a backup QB for a reason.

Explains why the players looked like they gave up. The coaching staff obviously did as well.

What really sucks is the backup QB was ass, too. Even healthy Collaros just does not show up in big games. He’s a good regular season QB, but if we make it to the Grey Cup at home next year I have ZERO faith in Zach, which is tough to say because he was probably my favourite player prior to Brady’s emergence.

Last year we did fire our special teams coordinator, so maybe Pierce “mutually parts ways” with the Bombers this off-season, but other than that, I think we run it back again, for better or worse.

Do you have any thoughts on the game, btw? I always appreciate reading your insights, so please don’t forget your password to this place. But I understand if you’re trying to unwind playing Sonic 2 and pretending this game never happened.

Well then thats terrible management then if you can't get a backup you trust enough to come in for injured players. Heck they didn't trusts Streveler much earlier this year. They should know with his last number of years they need a backup option.

I have to say out of the 3 Grey Cup loses this one stings the most, the Lucky punt fumble gifted the Argos points, the blocked punt penalty rewarding the Argos the ball took away points. Collaros was terrible tonight even before the cut on his finger, receivers dropped balls and ZC noodle arm shouldn't be throwing so many long throws. The D had it's moments but rushing 3 and leaving Jones as spy was a dumb scheme. O'Shea is going nowhere unless he wants to but he needs to manage his roster better and both OC and DC have to be reviewed. For Gods sake get a F N punter who can get some length and hangtime cause this Aussie flat out sucks.

This scheme actually reminds me of the lame duck lapo era when buck wasnt reading plays fast enough to check down so we were just hoping got a long ball to connect or trying for a curl and sometimes running up the gut

Would have been a better game if Buck Pierce hadn't been calling the game from a sensory deprivation tank.

He isn't. I said it last year when my friends and I were dissecting the loss to Montreal. He's a good man, and I will forever be grateful to MOS for ending the Cup drought. He just can't bring himself to put Old Yeller down. To be a great, winning coach, the ability to be ruthless is just as important to success as loyalty is. Sometimes even more so.

The missed holding call was brutal too. It stings for sure, this was a humiliation. You think you've seen the Bombers lose the Grey Cup every way imaginable, but they keep coming with ways to freshen up the experience.

I guess you could call this era the lame duck dynasty

the officiating has been straight up one-sided

Yeah, it sure was.

Team Penalties Yards
Winnipeg 6 38
Toronto 10 83

The Argos have the Bombers' number, but that doesn't take away from what Winnipeg has accomplished the last five years and it has been pretty impressive.

I never understand why fans of the other team think it's a good idea to post on the other teams forums...
