While the final statline wasn't great, Dinwiddie played well enough in that game to have them in position to win it too. Kerry Joseph sucked ASS that night and the Rider D dragged his ass across the finish line.

Dinwiddie won't be remembered for being a kid having never made a start doing the best with what was an impossible situation, but rather for the game ending pick he threw with under a minute left in the game.

What a fun game! Nailbiters are fun, but it's also just great to go in and dominate.

Who else went to BOTH the Jets and Bombers games yesterday? I did and it was the perfect day of Winnipeg sports. First time I went to two in one day since 2011. Great crowd for both games - and both sold out. Impressive Winnipeg!

Also went to both…..::: hungover from Friday night too! Feels great to wake up today rested (and not hungover) and knowing both of my teams won in dominant fashion.

Took a while to feel comfortable, but that was a dominant Bombers win. But no mistaking it, Roughriders are a team that are on the upswing once Corey Mace gets more comfortable as a Head Coach and if they can find a QB to replace Harris. But when all three of Collaros-Lawler-Oliveira are playing at their best, and the defensive scheme covers for all its shortcomings (what a game from Holm), this team is performing at the level we expected of them before the season began (and subsequently went 2-6 before getting on its roll).

This feels like the 3rd Grey Cup in a row where the Bombers should be better on paper than their opponent, now with the injury to Chad Kelly (ptooie). If they have a game like today, it should be easy, but I probably won't be confident unless or until it's the 3 minute warning and they're up by more than one touchdown.

Arbuckle beat us in 2021 wearing an Argos jersey. He threw some good passes in that als game too. But Hopefully they will be the only time that he beats us

Last 2 grey cup losses have me limiting any pre game confidence

I sympathize with that sentiment. I've also learned to temper my hopes heading into the big game, as our record in the Grey Cup isn't great. Last year, the whole week leading up, I had a gut feeling that Montreal would win.

That said, I also have a gut feeling this year. I think we're going to stick it to Toronto like we did to Saskatchewan. The Argos are due an L in the GC game and I'm confident we will give them one.

Another gloomy and dark off season for the Riders and their fanbase, they can't fill their toilet bowl and the performance yesterday ain't going to help.

Here you go bust'... you are welcome to keep this jpeg on file and use at anytime...

Feel free to distrubute to all your Bomber fan friends...

No one thinks Toronto has a chance. Winnipeg is fortunate Montreal lost as that game would be truly 50/50

This'll be the 4th straight GC where Bombers are heavy favourites. They are 1-2 in those games. I'm not taking anything for granted.

TO has an exceptional DL. People are talking about Bombers 10-1 run to end the year here...but that 1 loss was at home against the Argos. Bombers O could only put up 11 pts in that one.

This is gonna be a dogfight despite what the betting lines and pundits are gonna be saying.

Exactly. They’re a bad matchup for us.

Arbuckle isn’t very good but Kelly is average to below-average, so I don’t suspect the drop-off to be that bad.

It’s not gonna be easy.

Montreal was extremely overrated all season. It brings me great joy to see them on the sidelines this week.

OurBuckle will not be an issue. If our offence is rolling, we will win. If our offence is not rolling, our defence will terminate the Argos, and we will win... :D:nod::thumbu: We cannot lose three in a row. I plan to head to a movie on Grey Cup day and record the game. In 2022, I broke my IPad Pro over my knee when we lost at the end. A movie will be cheaper.
