This was like watching the Toronto/Montreal game yesterday. Neither team planning on trying to win in the second half

This is out of Legghio's range, isn't it? ;)

Hamilton almost blew it again. Should have kicked the FG instead of going on 3rd down... one slip, he was almost stopped.

Not showing up on D for the first 45 minutes of the game hurts. Holy shit Hamilton is just godawful though, we played like cheeks all game and they barely won, we can’t keep giving games away.

The only thing that gives me pause is there aren’t really any good teams in the league this season other than us we decide to actually play

After the bye week we have the Argos here and away against the Lions that should determine if this team is good enough this year.
Yup, Argos to see how we match up and to get a feel for how we need to play against them, and Lions to lock up home advantage. Which we probably need - we're much better with the home crowd, and getting the bye means 1 less chance to fluke a loss against a crap team in the semi's...

We're not as good a team as the past few years, but we're less worse than everyone else (with the possible exception of Toronto, who are maybe the same as last year)... It's been a rough year for the CFL.

For the life of me I can't figure out this team.
They’re a good team that’s clearly the class of the league when at their best (see second home game against BC, Banjo Bowl) but they seem to have trouble getting up for every game now. Both this game and the LDC were losses because we played like crap, not because our opponents are any good.

Like @FonRiesen says, we seem to have more problems playing on the road, and we seem to be less worse than everyone else. The CFL is full of awful teams this year. Even Toronto looks terrible in a lot of their games, they just have the fortune of being less shit than their opponents. But that said, they haven’t really had any stinkers like this one. They’re consistently pretty-bad-but-are-always-doing-enough-to-win whereas the Bombers are more inconsistent. Our highs are much better than Toronto’s but we don’t bring it every game.

For the Bombers? Lol no. This game didn't matter, never did. BC and WPG neither was ever going to get the division until the last game against each other.
you also believe Dru Brown is a starting qp on a cfl team, clearly he has shown that he is not.......

Bizarre as in stupid? If so, I agree! What a terrible head coach.

Ottawa is headed for their 4th consecutive terrible season. They will be lucky to win more than 5 games this season. That franchise looks to be in a lot of trouble financially.
Dyce is no head coach, like LaPo, and now with the new salary cap restrictions, they could be stuck with him for a while, look at edmonton and jones.....its a good way to put a franchise back several years......a dumb rule by the commish

Never said that. I have said he's not shown enough one way or the other. And that he's a top prospect still. And that if he played solid in that BC game he'd have been fielding offers from other teams as a starter. But he didn't. I stand by all those statements though. The Dru Brown story in the CFL isn't over, whether he'll develop into a starter is still TBD as of right now.

Yes, he signed a 3 -year contract. I seem to recall teams are given a mulligan or an exemption for one person fired prior to their contract expiring. Not sure if they used that up with Lapo...or if his contract expired at the end of this year and thus, they are allowed a new mulligan with Dyce.
