Guaranteed Zetterlund will see shifts on other lines.

I think that’s a function of where we are in the standings and just how important this game is. Other guys on the team are used to play with each other. Zetterlund doesn’t know the system right now so it makes a lot of sense to shelter him before he gets used to the way we play.

All it takes to lose a game is a player missing their coverage or not knowing exactly where they need to be. By starting him slow you’re reducing the chances of that happening.

This is exactly why I was so shocked to see Cozens out for our PK. It's sort of a mess already, so to throw him out in his 1st game seemed odd.

I have no clue if Buff uses a similar diamond, so maybe it wasn't a stretch for him.

Can we please take and hold a lead tonight rather than another come from behind nail biter.

Linus - no leaky goals!

FZ - get a point!

Stü - keep it going.

Those are my wishes.

I will give you 3 more:

Pinto - Goal.
Sens - Win.
Wings - Eat shit.

Wait a f***ing second Hamonic is still alive and playing WTF did he drink the same cool aid as Boro, man is a warrior but sit him down Green!

Oh well we got this, love the way Tkachuk, Sandy, and Stu are leading the troops. They will treat the game and the opponent with respect. Wings are hungry.

Wings are charmin soft.

Feeling the Sens will pick them apart physically and beat them 5-2 with Zetterlund leading the way in hits.
I think our team tends to go to sleep against lesser opponents. There is not enough aggression in our game. The coaching staff needs to install more compete in our roster.

No sense in worrying about where Zetts is slotting into the lineup right now - I expect he'll be moved up within the game, if not by next game.

I am jacked to watch tonight's game: Big division game, huge points on the line, new players to watch... I've got a fun amount of nervous energy about it, but I sure do wish the day would go a little quicker!

We are 7-2-1 in our last 10 against Detroit according to Statsmuse.

This is it.

People are looking into where he is first slotted in at ES too much. He just joined a team with a different system and no familiarity with the coach. Pinto line likely has a different assignment than they will give Zett.

He will be up on one of the top two lines by the end of the game because he is someone who is actually going to get into the dirty areas and try to score

I predict 2LW to start, moving Perron down to 3LW.

Just because Zetterlund is starting on the 4th line means he will stay there. Green mixes the lines up during games when they're ahead to give some guys opportunities with better players or play better defensively & sometimes when they are behind to mix it up & change momentum.
Coaches are human beings capable of thought and adapting?

If you can swing going tonight, I would encourage everyone to go. This is going to be like a playoff game. I sleep 3 hours a night and I'm still going.
We know why
