How is Danielson doing better than Dvorsky? Do you watch any of the games? Dvorsky is an elite offensive talent that would run circles around Danielson. Danielson is a “safe” defensive forward who’s slotted as a career 3rd line C.
Seeing as how Dvorsky skates like he's stuck in mud, Danielson would probably be the one running circles around him

Also he has 3 less assists than Danielson and only 5 more points. What elite offensive talent are you talking about? Where Dvorsky sits in the right circle waiting for someone else to skate around the ice to feed him?

Everyone is entitled to their opinions but I dont see how you watch ASP make all those tight space little plays and think the big sheet is the reason. Hes a great directional skater, with his top speed being a little lesser compared to his agile skating ability. His skating should be more beneficial on small ice compared to the big ice right now too. That should help his defensive game more.

That assist on Swedens first goal yesterday is an example of the quick, little plays he makes in tight space all the time that wont magically disappear on smaller ice
Yeah no idea what that guy is talking about, ASP’s attributes translate better to smaller ice than big ice.

When they scored 30 goals, absolutely. Maybe one day he'll get there, but I don't personally see that type of offensive from him. I'm hoping he can get to 20 goals and 50 assists while playing exceptional defense.
It's just too soon to say. Danielson has a pretty good shot from what I've seen, so it's literally just a case of utilizing it more which might happen if he plays with a legit playmaker instead of Austin Watson.

No one thought William Karlsson would score 30 until he scored 40. Nate has some of the same qualities. He can put some velocity on his shots and in Junior was not reluctant to shoot. He's naturally unselfish to a fault, a facilitator more than a finisher, a good defensive player on a team that stresses defense, and is not playing a lot with equal young talent or established AHL scorers. Getting stronger and being a bit more assertive is all he needs development wise..

Karlsson also only hit 20+ goals 2 out of the following 7 seasons afterwards

Unlike karlsson We took danielson with a top 10 pick. I'll be disappointed if hes not at least around the 25 goal mark for long periods of his career

Of course you'd be disappointed. Not many rational fans though would or should be disappointed in a fast, really good defensive center who since that 40-goal season has averaged .68 PPG, been even more productive than that in two playoff runs to the Stanley Cup final, winning one of them. Describing all of that as disappointing for where Danielson was picked is absurd.

Karlsson was an expansion draft pick, hes obviously become a steal for vegas. Danielson is a top 10 draft pick

If he only hits 50+ pts in career 4 times like karlsson has I have every right to be disappointed. You telling me how I should feel is absurd

Lol, I'm not telling you anything. Go ahead and be disappointed. If you're expecting more than what Karlsson has been in Vegas -- which has been .73 PPG overall and 22 goals per season prior to this one, a fast player, good faceoff guy and recipient of Selke votes some years -- from the 9th OA pick of any draft, you're expecting too much. We all hope it's more than that of course.

Hes hit 20 goals a season 3 x ... its nice to mix in his 43 goal season and pretend he gets 22 a season but its more or less 15ish goals a year minus his 3 seasons.

Yes I'm expecting too much from a top 10 pick lmao ... if he was drafted last 1st sure , when your drafting top 10 your aiming for a top line guy not elite 3c

Anyways we'll see what happens in the next 3-5 yrs

If he gets to 10 points less than your bar I will be ec-effin-static! A center that puts up 60 points and can lock it down in their own end is a highly valuable player.

Lol my guy. There's going to be maybe one Red Wing who hits 30 goals this season. You truly think if Danielson started the season with the Red Wings, he'd hit 30 goals? My brother in Christ, ain't no way.

I stated I don't see the goal scorering offense from Danielson being that of Betuzzie or AA when they both hit 30 goals, and you're saying at this moment, it's hard to tell if Danielson, right now, is better or worse than 30 goal AA or Bertuzzi?

Please tell me I am misreading what you're saying. I am not trying to be mean, I swear, I want to actually know if you think Danielson now is as good or better than 30 goal Bertuzzi.
