Exactly. Certain things are inherently subjective and debatable (which system a coach uses, line pairings, situational deployment, etc.). But responding to adversity by doing a deer in headlights impression the vast majority of the time is objectively inexcusable.

I have no idea whether McLellan will be successful. But if he actively tries to course correct when things go pear-shaped, that alone is an improvement.

Interesting choice, especially how his last stop in LA went. First read to me is that this is Steve still riding the "defense, defense, defense" train. Glad it's someone with experience, but we'll see just how much this translates to wins. I'd at least hope for more competitive games, even if the roster itself continues to struggle on any given night.

Well had to make the move. Despite never being completely sold on Lalonde and being very frustrated of late, I do really like him and was hoping he would somehow turn it around and it would work out for him. Wishing him the best in the future.
