Maybe, but what he can do is take the Vesey role for sure next seasonCould Zetterlund be a top six forward? He looks really good.
There’s gonna be a ton of competition for spots on the wing next year. Even if he ends up on the third or fourth line, I’m already excited to see what he can bring to the team next season.Zetterlund may be much more than a 3rd line guy...

Would I be mistaken if I said you didn't like the Holtz pick back in 2020?I'd love to have access to puck touch and puck possession stats because I feel like Holtz has to touch the puck and have the puck on his stick possibly the least of anyone on the team this year outside of like Geertsen
Easy for me to say but would have been better for him to skyhook that up instead of trying to thread itHoltz almost had Rango there, good awareness. Nice defensive play by DET.

Had no idea he wasn't playing. Thought maybe he was playing ok since I didn't notice him. This scratching needs to serve as a wake up call for Smith that next year he absolutely needs to be better or he won't be starting.
Holtz will be fine. What needs to be understood is he simply is never going to drive play. He needs someone to get him the puck is really all it comes down to.
Yea he needs to be betterLiterally everyone understands that. I agree he'll eventually be fine. Right now he's not even a competent passenger. He's just bad.
This is basically how I see it as well. That never was his scouting report. I'm encouraged with his skating/positioning improvements since the start of the year and he'll continue to improve. From what we've heard from Dineen, he knows what he has to work on and has good work ethic. Here's to hope he keeps on training with Bratt's skating coach hehe!Holtz will be fine. He is bad right now. I’m not crazy worried yet but his skating is giving me reason to be concerned. It comes down to more than just someone getting him the puck there’s a lot more to the game than that and right now his skating isn’t good enough. That’s not an easy thing to improve drastically but he’s pretty young still and could get stronger and faster over the next couple years. He needs to.Holtz will be fine.
