It’s just indicative of bad process in coaching. Maybe it’s a sign of why those other issues persist?

Played about 13 more minutes than he earned. Turning up your effort when the game is 4-1 doesn't erase two periods of disinterested hockey and throwing shots into the goalie from outside the high scoring areas.

Nobody told me there'd be days like these...

Name a player other than maybe Haula who played well the first two periods?

Have lines been posted? If Ruff goes with what he opened Thursday with…I’d say those are freak out grounds.

This f***ing team better show the f*** up tonight because I am in absolutely no f***ing mood to watch a repeat performance of that dog shit on Thursday. I f***ing hate sports.
I saw this post and it clicked in uh oh, Red Bulls must have crapped out again. Sure enough...

If he’s still feeling tightness in the hammy I’d prefer he sit out. Despite Woods tirade it’s game 2. Why go from he’s not feeling up to it to saying ok I’ll play hurt after one loss?
Nico was able to skate and most likely play before Thursday's game, but wasn't feeling 100%, hence why he sat out, he even said so himself. If he's playing today it's because he's 100% good to go. He's practiced 3-4 times.

Just brutal, I'm not even surprised by the result, I said on my Red Bulls board months ago that we were most likely gonna lose at home this year to switch it up.

The only positive thing I have to say is I'm happy I didn't have to spend any money or time flying or driving somewhere like I would have if they had to play on the road.

Does anyone know where the redwing are staying? I'm at the Hyatt Regency in JC and I swear I just saw a group of players getting on a bus.

There's absolutely no reason Wood should have to apologize to anyone. "bad team, I should have said non playoff team. NON PLAYOFF TEAMS ARE BAD TEAMS. Wood shouldn't have had to apologize for anything. We have had putrid, dog shit f***ing awful hockey for almost a full decade before he was even here.

Those dumb f*** suits definitely tried to get ahead of this like it was some story anyone actually gave a shit about.

Holy f***

Dont mean to crash your GDT. Just to inform. Actually the smallest guy is 6'3". The average height of that line is 6'5". Soderblom 6'8", Rasmussen 6'6". Hoping for a good showing from both teams.

They don't like anything that highlights and legitimizes the grievances of the 'complainer' crowd, which is getting bigger by the year (and justifiably so).

I was talking about this over on njdevs but it's wild how many young to young adult fans in our fan base really only know bad teams and barely any playoffs or were too young to really remember the 2012 run. We saw it a bit in 2018 but there's a rabid hungry fan base here just waiting to finally see some winning hockey.

I'm glad people are pissed off and I'll be leading the fire Ruff chants if this team comes out like a bunch of zombies again tonight.

Then it's probably them.

I know for a fact that the Sharks stay at the Westin Jersey City in recent years, but they've also stayed in Manhattan a lot when playing the Devils, so they didn't have to keep switching hotels and would just make that their base for the 5 days they were here playing the Devils, Rangers and Islanders. Especially when the Islanders were in Brooklyn those few years. Apparently other teams do the Manhattan thing when playing us too, that's how the Wild team bus got stuck in traffic in the Lincoln Tunnel and were late getting to the game last year.

I'm pretty sure most teams stay in Jersey City, but I also know some have stayed at the Short Hills Hilton as well. There's much more to do and better options for dinner the night before a game and walking and sights in Jersey City than out in suburban Short Hills.

I know back in the day teams stayed at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights, but I doubt anybody stays there anymore after we moved out of the Meadowlands. That hotel was a bit dumpy like 25 years ago and I always thought at least from the outside the hotel in the Meadowlands was much nicer. It was a Sheraton at one point in like the 90's, not sure what it is now.

Although, that's probably no further from Newark than where the hotels are in Jersey City, especially not on weeknights during the start of rush hour when the team bus is coming through.
