He is a player with very good shot. Defense should prevent shot attemps from him.

Vanacek is league average bro.

It's literally not even half of a game yet. If they give up on him as quick some of you have, we'll be seeing A LOT more Blackwood and he's almost a LOCK for at least 3 goals against.

That said, he needs to be way better than this. The coach is itching to put Richard back in there and looking for any reason he can to put him back in there, so this is a pretty poor and disappointing performance if he don't start shutting the door.

He NEEDS TO BE BETTER, no question about that.

It's so far been a pretty meh performance from him for a guy that we need in the net more often than not if we have any prayer at being successful.

The first goal might have deflected, but that second one was certainly a bad one.
