In the other game both Savage and Mazur had amazing game alsoFinal score of 11 - 2 Canada.
I also see that our boy Cossa didn't give up a single goal tonight! Amazing pick.
We didn't trade a first and a second for them.In the other game both Savage and Mazur had amazing game also
I would guess that’s directed at me, and I don’t consider my post(s) to be freaking out over it.
I think it is somewhat concerning that he wasn't good in the most important games of his career (prospects camp and WJC) thus far.
You were excited to watch him play Austria really? Canada is up 5-0 after the first period and Austria manage a measley 6 shots. The game is over.
Sebrango btw.... just solid. Nice quiet game with a few nice flashes that bode well for his future. In addition to a couple good reads in his own zone, his stretch pass 4 minutes into the 2nd to spring a breakaway was impressive. Head up, pass on the tape. Kid isn't flashy, but quietly effective.
Raymond fell? Not sure where you got that from. Edvinsson also did not fall, average ranking was between 2/3 and 11
Against guys his age he looks like he has a bit of offense too. The commentator even commetned how good hes been sneakily last night

As long as every other team is shut down by Covid it's theirs.Does Austria still has chance to win gold ,?
Yes even if he faced 10 shots total. It would have been good for him to get some game time and boost his confidence with a potential shutout
Sebrango remind anybody else of Brad Stuart. I've been really impressed by him at this tourney. Starting to make me think he's got middle pairing upside.

Stuart passing was underrated imo. But the low maintenance all around slightly more defensive middle pairing guy is exactly what I had in mind.Felt like Stuart was a bit stronger while Sebrango adds a bit more offensively in terms of his passing? But he's so young, who the hell knows...the important thing is that he looks like a low maintenance, all-rounder who didn't look out of place on the ice with a bunch of highly touted offensive prospects. Our potential bottom pair LDs are looking rather intriguing with Sebrango, Johansson, Wallinder and maybe even McIssac if he can bounce back a bit from all of his injuries? Not a bad mix of future guys to roll around behind Edvinsson and maybe a 2nd Pair FA (Leddy?) for the next few years
Hockey values different traits now imo. Mostly stay at home d dont go that high anymore.I don't know about that. Stuart was a really high draft pick that was a solid #2 defenseman before Detroit picked him up for next to nothing. If Sebrango can become half the defensive stalwart Stuart was in a draft that we got Raymond, Wallinder, Niederbach AND Viro then Detroit may have just had it's best draft since 2002.
I'd definitely preferred he get some playing time here, but the games so far have told us literally nothing about the Canadian goalies since they are such a non-factor.
Like I said before I'm kinda waiting for the Finland game to see if he's even suited for that. That stands to be the first actual test for Canada, no offense to the other teams.
