Team looks like ass without Larkin. Not surprising with their lack of center depth. At least Husso is stopping the puck unlike the last game in New York.

A guy like Corey Perry would help make the powerplay multi-dimensional. He can stand in front of the goalie, score on rebounds, tip pucks.

And he can do other things. Remember how good-looking some of the moms were? I think Soderblom's and Seider's moms would be in serious danger. Not a great idea, GMR.

One period without Larkin is a good reminder why this team invested heavy draft capital in Kasper and Danielson. And that’s not a knock on Compher and Copp, I’m maize and blue and really like both players. But it’s a good reminder why center depth comes at a premium.

The Ref's as usual are not great. Hopefully we will play better in the second and third and win those periods. Husso solid.

However, 1st period against Rangers last time looked very similar, even with Larkin (and then they missed Fox).
