GDT: Wings at Canes, last minute GDT edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

This has gotta be like the most boring finale to a Canes division race ever, right?

all 3 seeds are like 95% likely set
The Caps have been on a shooting percentage high all season and may fall back to Earth, but it's likely too late to catch them in terms of seeding, so yeah, that part's a bit boring.

Nice win…. Detroit for most of the game was just not in the building. They didn’t show up until late in the first and then after showing a big of physical play to try to get some goals back when we scored three unanswered, they eventually reverted to the same lack of aggression and played scared.. instead of coming at us and pushing us hard, they fell back and left us allll kinds of ice to just skate around unimpeded..

Doesn’t have to be perfect, doesn’t always have to be super pretty (although KK definitely teamed up with his linemates to score a couple really pretty ones), just get the two point, mark another W in the win column and move on to the next. Loving keeping the streak going…. Confidence building.. rod rolled only three lines as the game went on.. got it done,, PK was good, Hall seems to be fitting in better and better.. Morrow had some good moments and some teachable moments about not abandoning the net front all alone. Stanky had some good shifts but also had a couple key moments where he needs to get the puck deep and turned it over instead.. let’s get that stuff out of the way now and learn from it…. Got the win and got some players ice time to work on stuff…. Robinson was all over it tonight…

On to the next… loving seeing these Ws…. More please :)
