Should be Ehlers/Nylander/Debrincat/Tkachuk/Kaprizov/Svechnikov in some order next.

I'll just keep hammering Ehlers because why not.

How could you vote for Kaprisov when Connor already has a PPG+ season 38 goal season and is the same age as Kaprisov?

For the same reason people are overlooking Guentzel, despite the fact Guentzel has a 40 goal season, and *two* PPG+ seasons under his belt the past three seasons. ;)

How is he overlooked? Every winger ahead of him can reasonably be expected to score ~90-95 points this season based on the past 3 years. Mark Stone a bit less maybe, but tradeoff is his defense is pretty great. Ovechkin hasn't scored 90 points in 10+ years, and has been below ppg the past 2 years.

I think Ovechkin is a very clear #10 - and no one else left on the board has a case above him. There's a clear separation between the top 10 and the rest. But I just don't see why it's so outrageous to rank Ovechkin 10th.

Who would you have below him, and why?

I doubt Connor would be PPG as by far the best offensive player on his team.

Kaprisov plays defense, doesn't have the quality of teammates of Connor, and put up better advanced analytics this year than Connor has in his whole career. Also the fact that Connor is pretty useless without out the puck on his stick.
