Just an observation. The Generals seemed to size up a bit to take on the Knights. They are playing them hard and not retaliating. London always carries a few knuckles on the squad and has a handful of players that like to play it rough and tough. Might be something to be learned from the London Oshawa series on how to build that team that can go the distance.
While I like a rough team, especially one with size, thought Windsor had enough size till Winegard, Belchetz, and Spellacy went down along with others, while Greentree and Nesbitt weren't the same once they took ill against Kitchener at the end..
Interesting Windsor in their games vs London,Oshawa and Barrie finisheTid 5-5,combined against them this, more interesting was that Windsor was 5-0 against those 3 at home and 0-5 against them on the road.Toss in Kingston who had 88 points same as Oshawa, Windsor went 1-1 and the same happened 1-0 at home,0-1 on the road.
Against Kitchener the team that knocked Windsor out Windsor was 5-4-1-1 against them regular season and playoffs ,2-1-0-1 in the regular season,1-0-0-1 at home 1-1 on the road, playoffs 3-3-1,2--1-1 at home ,1-2 on the road, other then road difficulties injuries major factor losing series to Kitchener.
Spits wound up 16-13-4-1 on the road in the regular season but wound up going 15-7-4 against the rest of the league excluding, London,Oshawa,Barrie,Kingston and Kitchener in the regular season.
Work on improving road wins something to work in,not so much at home 29-4-0-1 was their overall home record regular season ,5-1-1during the playoffs.
