Not going to lie. I thought the goaltending was going to go the opposite way then it has to this point in series.
Safe to say he remembers 2023 too. Feels like this series is personal for him and I imagine for Morneau, Christoforo, Abraham.
Very slim chance he leaves.Any of you worried about losing Greentree next year? 3ppg in the playoffs here 14G in 8 games. I’m sure there’s a chance. He’s signed an ELC so he can’t go NCAA.
So either way..He mentioned it in post-game at least once. They're different teams but he didn't forget the sweep.
Five. Goals. I didn't expect that in the slightest but I'll take it. Costanzo with 27ish saves. Walters keeps saying your best players need to be your best players. They were tonight.
Game 4 on Wednesday. I'll take a win, but if they lose, close it out on Friday at home. I didn't see 3-0 coming but we alllllll know that 3-0 just gives a chance for a 4-3 comeback.

While I think he has done everything in the O, I don't think he is ready for the show. I see LA keeping him for a few games and returning him in October. I also see him playing in the World Juniors. Two years from now, I see him playing in the A and coming up midseason.I believe it's NHL or OHL next season so, barring some weird happenings, he's back. Though, it also wouldn't be unfamiliar territory for us...
I agree. I don’t think it’s a high percentage however it’s definitely not 0.I believe it's NHL or OHL next season so, barring some weird happenings, he's back. Though, it also wouldn't be unfamiliar territory for us...
I still think his skating is a little bit off from the NHL, honestly an AHL year next would probably put him there, but… yay for us for the CHL/NHL Agreement.I believe it's NHL or OHL next season so, barring some weird happenings, he's back. They say it is all about timing, and these aforementioned individuals seem like they are peaking at the perfect time. Kudos to each and every one of them, they are playing like beasts out there. Go Spits Go!wow, 3-0 series lead, did not see that coming.
Historic performance by Greentree. I think he's the first Spitfire ever to score 5 goals in a playoff game. He's just an insane sniper.
Spitfires have now outscored the opposition 44-16 in 8 playoff games! Insane considering they are playing with 5 08's and five regulars out with injury. Cole Davis exited in the 3rd and did not return. Could be down 6 regulars for game 4.
Wyatt Kennedy has been great on defense with a + 11 rating. That was a huge acquisition and he should be back next season. Abraham has been outstanding.
Morneau, Greentree, and Protas is the best line in the CHL. Greentree and Protas lead the CHL in playoff scoring.
Protas tracker: 48 points in his past 15 games.
I was thinking as well as that if you averaged the age of the team Kitchener and Windsor iced last night Windsor was likely the younger team. The Spits dressed 6 08s last night and I did not see a weak spot.
