Gotta say that's the first time I've ever seen a player get a penalty for goalie interference where he didn't touch the goalie!
Well.. Spitfire player hammered #25 right into him. Can argue both sides. I didn’t think it was intentional, just a collision due to the speed/pace of the game. Two players going hard to the net. Ultimately it’s just really unfortunate.. considering the Hounds’ season is in huge jeopardy with backup in net. Huge break for Windsor, that’s about all that can be said.Gotta say that's the first time I've ever seen a player get a penalty for goalie interference where he didn't touch the goalie!
I don't find alcohol poisoning all that fun.Fun Drinking Game: Take a Shot Everytime the announcers get a name wrong.

I was thinking that. What a weird officiated playoffs across the league so far. Nesbitt took a stick to the back of his head too, no call.Gotta say that's the first time I've ever seen a player get a penalty for goalie interference where he didn't touch the goalie!
Not sure you can say hammered.. they touched but not with much force at all. I don't quite get what Reid was thinking. Dude was going 100MPH directly at his own net. If he didn't make contact with Hicks I think he stills blows Lalonde up & if not comes dangerously close too.Well.. Spitfire player hammered #25 right into him. Can argue both sides. Can't fight anymore so stick work increases.I was thinking that. What a weird officiated playoffs across the league so far. Nesbitt took a stick to the back of his head too, no call.
Surprised on the amount of high sticks that have gone, while other stuff has been left alone. Kennedy cross check was worthy of 2 on Nordh, but nothing.
I’d say the Hounds season was more in jeopardy by finishing 7th… but hicks had the breaks on when Reid cut him off and obliterated his own goalie. Far from intentional on either side.Well.. Lol. There’s a great slow motion angle on Facebook that shows a lot different. I’m Trying to be unbiased. If Windsor blew the Hounds out in game 3 I would agree with your “jeopardy” point, but what a drastic difference in Home vs Away play for the spits. I mean I might as well of said that Hicks should be tossed. Reid didn’t want Hicks near the LaLonde, and unfortunately trucked him in the process.
Link to it? Because what StingUpdates posted is the same angle the Soo broadcast has shown on replay 3-4 timesLol. There’s a great slow motion angle on Facebook that shows a lot different. I’m Trying to be unbiased. But okay, I might as well of said that Hicks should be tossed. Cheers
No reason Reid needed to be charging in like that. Hicks try’s to stop so he forest run the goaltender and Reid blows right by and crushes LalondeLol. Soo player ran his own goalie over because he missed Hicks.Gotta say that's the first time I've ever seen a player get a penalty for goalie interference where he didn't touch the goalie!
The old saying is next goal is a big one.Protas and Morneau with late goals. Windsor doesn't have the same energy they have at home but they're finding a way. Just have to watch the third period as the Soo is going to full press.
