Who would you guys say is the real play driver and best player on Windsor this year between Protas and Greentree?

If you had to pick one, and you're not picking on "I'd rather draft this player" only on performance this year

That's honestly a tough one. Both have NHL shots, both can find the open man with precision, both have the size to drive the net without being stopped. The small edge I'd give to Greentree is he's quicker with his first few strides. Once they get going, both are trains; good luck in stopping them. However, Protas is slightly slower to start. I mean, I'm nitpicking here, it's that close.

I wish posters would look at the dates of the threads. They are posting new info on the 23/24 thread. It's a little mixed up on the posted order so just pay attention to the dates. Sorry not a mod but it is frustrating if you have to look all over for current posts.

I'll take part of the blame here. I saw the 2023-24 thread and didn't see *this one* until after I had posted. So, that created two threads, which is why i tried to get the Robinson stuff going in here since it's the proper one, so to speak.

Just going through his game-by-game, there's very little consistency. You could get a great outing, you could get a pull.

I'll say this - next season, if Windbiel and George aren't our goaltenders, I'll be surprised. Send OS whatever it takes and go from there.

If I were the Owen Sound GM, the price for George would be Windbiel.
 
I don't think it's definitely out of the question, but Bowler worked hard to get him here and there was shock that he was still available when it was their turn. My gut says it'd take a LOT for Bowler to move him.
 
Got a look at the game winner scorers on Windsor,Protas leads the team with 8 game winners,Morneau and Greentree are 2nd with 5 each,3rd is Nesbitt with 4.
Interesting re the rookies those 17 and under,Ethan Garden despite having 6 goals on the season so far the 9th round draft pick has 3 game winners,Belchetz has 2,while Lemieux and Hicks have 0 so far.
Christoforo leads the D with 3 game winners,while Mathurin and Walton have 2 each,I like Walton's stat,he has 3 career goals and all are game winners.

This came up in discussion on Thursday. My thinking was "the teams dress full rosters on Sunday, simply for bragging rights. Best on best, or as close as possible. Then, final game in London, scratch whoever needs it and just get it over with." Just a guess.
 
Davis looked more him reacting not looking for the head shot.
Team let down huge after that first goal. Took a while to look better.
Spoke with someone within the team, 33’s issues are his alone, no injury at all. Its mental and to date no remedy.

Nice win on Thursday against the hounds, still need to tighten it up as a team defensively. Would be nice to make it 3 wins in a row against the spirit tonight. Their top defenseman out tonight, which will hopefully help us out but still a strong saginaw team.

Hope to see Froggett have a better outing then hus last. Build his confidence up heading into playoffs. With not much to play for now other then personal accolades and pride because we're stuck in 2nd position I just hope the coaches are preaching good habits and good fundamentals out there, don't need to get complacent in the last few weeks before playoffs.

Let's make it 3 in a row!!,

This is beyond the roster tonight but Eichler being 7th D and Winegard being moved up front. They still need a more well rounded roster. Spellacy will replace one of them but point remains Eichler needs to be better as a 19yr import.
