Looks like... Froggett, Eichler, Protas, and Davis are all back. No Costello, Gaymes, or Outwater (obviously).
So Spits have 6 players in that did not play the last game,Eichler, Davis due to injury, while Garden,Froggett, Protas and Winegard are back in after being out.
Not dressed Lavigne, Hicks,Newlove and Costello.
Hopefully all are well.

Terry Doyle's voice is literally giving me a migraine. He should just go back to doing what he does best......Eating Cheeseburgers and Sweating....😂.......Also just heard Taylor Hall has been traded to Carolina!! This will be Hall's 73rd time being traded!! 😂

Rantanen's name tossed in there made my jaw drop. Hall moving is just another day lol but Rantanen has been a fixture.

Avs couldn't afford him.
Not going to spend all there money like leafs do on select few players..

Nice to get 2 points tonight even if it means OT,Windsor the better team 2 of 3 periods, outshot them 39-19 overall,32-12 after the 1st,great game from Spellacy, Christoforo and Mathurin.
Mathurin now has 6 goals on the season in 37 games, his 1st 96 games of his career he had 6,3 each season has been a fine acquisition solid game by Davis too had 2 assists tonight,Spits missed him when he was out.
Will happily take the win and getting 4 goals when your 2 best forwards get 1 point between them, speaking of Greentree and Protas.
If I am Windsor I would make no changes for Sundays game vs Brampton lineup wise.

Much better 2nd half of the game. Joey was average tonight and he really scares me to death when he leaves the crease to play the puck lol. How about Mathurin?? How was he not a star tonight? Spellacy was flying all night and Davis was going as well looking 100% thankfully. Onto Sunday hopng Protas and Greentreecsn get it gojng again. PP still needs work not horrible but with the guns we have should be better than 6th. .

Agreed with all this. Mathurin played a great game, even if you set the goals aside. Spellacy looked to have some jump maybe from the recent signing (with a hopeful future) and this is one of, if not Davis’s best games all season. I was big on Davis and saw him as a bright spot in a dark season last year, but feel it’s one thing or another this year. Odd little injuries here and there, and I think early he may have been playing through some stuff. I think he’s one of the few that can hang with Spellacy’s speed, and adding Lemieux with them, it almost makes it a 3rd/Checking line, while still having an offensive threat. I liked the Top 3 Lines a lot tonight.

I fear Protas will be gone, I don’t see him staying and I like Greentree, but it feels to me, Protas could succeed just as well on another line, where Greentree may not. Hopefully any fatigue from the flu is gone by Sunday, as I agree, when GT/Protas are on,
They can’t be stopped.

The experience Belchetz is getting with them as well, I think is extremely valuable for next year and beyond.

Only change I make Sunday is Costello for Winegard if he’s healthy, maybe Gaymes instead if he’s not.
Hicks or Eichler, either work for me.

1st Goal, what are you gonna do.
2nd goal, looked really soft from my view.
3rd goal, a little wonky play, I don’t fault him much.

I assume we’re back to Joey in a short two game week with a day of rest.

Got 5 games in 10 days starting Thursday, going to have to see how Froggett’s healed up at somepoint soon!

Apparently I had more important things to do last night then watch the game, life LOL!

At least 2 of the Spits were borderline scratches last night (still not 100%) but chose to play. Looking at the statline you can see that. They will be ready by Sunday I'm sure.
Glad they pulled it off. Sarnia always plays the Spits tough. Spits needed that win.

Does Windsor even have a backup?
Jk
But "rarely" play though.

Good win. Needs to be brought up just as the +- was a talking point for Cristoforo. Can Kennedy stop allowing forwards to get on the inside of him? It's been happening quite frequently and that has nothing to do with getting accustomed to a new team.

Has anyone seen how Abraham has played since the deadline passed? Need more from him.

Looks like he is just living out the last few months of hockey.
Hasn't done much at all.

It could be any number of factors. It's not the first time he's been inconsistent in his career and, wherever he goes, it probably won't be the last. This is the longest stretch where he's been questionable this season so maybe he's one of the players that has been ill but still dressed. That's been mentioned multiple times.

They dressed a full team last night as opposed to what happened against Barrie and Oshawa. If they didn't do it last week nothing is stopping them from resting Abraham. It's ok to say Abraham is an empty calorie player.

So are we sure Joey is solidly back? 3 on 19 are not good numbers… i want to see the backups get some games. Its one of my few issues with this staff.

I think he's getting there which is good. He has no control if the Sarnia goalie plays well. Spits haven't developed a solid back up in some time. They should start doing that with a 21 point lead but.... We will find out a lot about this group and coaching staff the next 20 games. Dial it in and fine tune things or they don't pay attention to the small details. That's where you see what players are about. If they're self motivated it should be good. If they look at the standings every day then it goes the other way.

I don't know that he's back. Give me a few games in a row where he's on his game and then... maybe? This home stretch will give us a good idea of what the coaches think about the backups, too. I'm not sold that Joey's starting solely because he should be.

When r the backups going to play??
Staff doesn't have a plan it seems or it's flawed..

STAY IN THE NET JOEY.......guy should be banned from leaving the crease. Every time he plays the puck it ends up on the opposing teams stick, a turnover in our zone. Some great goalies focus on staying in the net and stopping pucks. I believe he would be a better goalie if he stayed in the net.

On the goalie situation, i too am baffled why Newlove has not had more games. He seems to have great fundamentals, squares up to the shooters, STAYS IN HIS NET, and has the best rebound control of all the Windsor Tenders. Not sure why this talent is not utilized on the Windsor squad. This guy would benefit huge from practicing daily with the team and getting in some games. Look at London`s young goalie, kid is a rockstar.
