Good win for sure. Real impressed how they were ready to go with a nice jump to their game!
I also think we need to get the other tenders some games.
Shame on windsor parking enforcement!!! They havent ticketed all year, get a full house and out comes the ticket rent a cops!!! Great way to encourage more fans!
Have to park legally.
Whoever did the parking lot configurations could of done better though for more spots.

Echoing what most have posted so far re last night's game, very solid effort from pretty much everyone, Costanzo good bounce back game ,Davis hopefully back by next Friday in Sarnia,if not Sunday at home,Eichler maybe not this weekend but next,Gaymes is done serving his 1 gamer, could see him playing Saturday or Sunday in for Weingard, though I wouldn’t do it till Sunday if I am Windsor, Froggett should play 1 of the 2,would play him Sunday in Oshawa were it me.
Spits are now 10-1 in their last 11 only loss at London,in fact 2 losses last 12 and both were in London, and 7 of those games have been on the road.
Finally Nesbitt pointless for the 3rd straight game, though will give him mulligan for last night's game after playing in the prospect game and was outstanding.
Other player struggling is Spellacy, hits and skates but not many points.
Will be interesting road trip, and then 7 straight home games, actually 8 of the next 9 will be home.
Windsor now 17-2-0-1 at home pretty impressive.

Windsor with a win.
Played a good game. Didn't take a period off and started when puck dropped.
Big crowd for lions ticket giveaway plus pa day for kids.
Joey played well. Windsor needed that
Windsor top line got most of the action. Usual.
Windsor will need other lines to contribute a lot more when games matter.
Like to see more physically from Windsor. But that's on coaching.

That was a good win. Low event game for the D and Costanzo. Greentree and Protas dominated. I look at Sudbury as the fun team some real good talent but not sure they can make a run. I view Oshawa/Barrie as better constructed teams so we will see this weekend.

Are the platinum and community rink lots still blocked off to regular Spitfires' ticket holders on game nights? They were in the past; you either parked in the far, far SE area of the lots, or where fans park now.

I don't blame the fans for parking where they need to. Sometimes, you're limited in spots and I don't know if the lot across the creek is still open on game nights (I've parked there a few times in the past). I get that the city has to ticket people but the organizations need to work together to find a better solution. You can't make the arena a central hub for all things hockey in the city, tell people specifically where they can park, then ticket them if their lot becomes overflowing while others aren't.

I’m not worried about Spellacy, but had a similar feeling last year. He is just a stride or two away from a breakout. I thought last year, and I’m starting to think it again, with a summer off, or a break to focus on some little things, and he might be there. His speed is insane, he’s got a decent shot. Just seems the pucks always wobbling on his stick, or he’ll ring a post and be half an inch off from it going it.

Nesbitt with the good game at the CMProspects has me fine with him as well.

Aside from keeping Greentree/Protas together, I wonder if shaking things up a bit could be helpful. Belchetz isn’t bad but I feel he’d be more noticeable if he saw more than other teams first lines.

I’d like to try:
Greentree, Protas, Spellacy
Abraham, Nesbitt, Belchetz
Lemieux, Morneau, McNamara
Gaymes, Costello, Garden

May get Spellacy going or create even more space for GT/Ilya, Abraham could do some antics with no one wanting to step up to Belchetz, Nesbitt, and allows Belchetz and Nesbitt a bigger role in their line. 3rd line is a good shutdown/high energy line with guys that play 200ft hockey. Then a rough and tough/energy 4th, with a couple guys to protect a smaller, rookie garden.

Maybe not the weekend to mix it up. Protas has been insane, and while we’re getting secondary scoring, Protas is still out there for it. I don’t want to rely to heavily on one guy for the bulk of the offense.

U can't park illegal.
Tix were justified.

The one thing I will bitch about is the uneven schedule. Sure it's great to get those road games behind you but then 7 in a row at home. Bad for business. Hard to get repeat casual fans with that many in a row during the stretch. I know many STH feel the same way as far as squishing that many games in s short calendar.
