No chance they are trading Cristoforo. He's a big part of the success this season. I could see Manzo and picks. Or trade Abraham and use the picks received for him + Manzo and some of their own picks for a d man.

Manzo + 2nd + 2 3rds + 2 4ths or something could get you a Petrovski type defenseman.

I know there has been talk on here about Abraham being moved for Smith, but I keep wondering if Bowler would move him separately, should OA for OA be needed. If there's one thing Bowler has done over the last three seasons it's keep us guessing.

It will cost us a good young player or several trade chips to improve our OA'S this year. Anything spent should be a player returning next year or returning import upgrade over Eichler. Morneau and Abraham are both locals. 1 Windsor and 1 Detroit. Not sure Bowler deals either at this stage.
Does Eichler and picks for Nordh make any sense? He'd cost a fair bit, but likely cheaper than a non-import like Pinelli and just as good.

That might make some sense from a Windsor POV, depending on two things ... 1. actual cost... and 2. if Windsor can get the big, crease-clearing Dman they want. They can't give up Eichler without getting a tough, physical replacement as he's one of the first to step in for his teammates if something happens.
