Guo should get a match too! 2 handed baseball swing at Nesbitts head. He missed thankfully.
I’m going to go back and rewatch that. I swear that’s what I saw but it happened quick. Is his 2 minutes reviewable by the league? Parekh and Guo are both repeat offenders, no? Similar stick related incidents? Could mean bad news for Saginaw, especially if Okes to miss any more time.

I will say, I liked Saginaw better in this game than Windsor when we got our teeth kicked in by Sudbury. At least they had some sort of fight.

That being said, if you wanna go, go. Wanna make a hit, do it. The high cross checked and two handed slashes don’t have a place in this game. I still think you raise that fight limit, and it settles this a bit.

Just a quick couple of things regarding the two incidents while I have a minute...

- Parekh got 5 min match penalty, which I believe is an automatic two games and a league review. It was a completely unnecessary shot on Martin, who was just skating into the area. Then, another shot, which sent Martin to the ice. Stupid moves on Parekh's part; even with the officials there, Martin got in a good shot.

- The Guo swing needs to be sent to the league. He didn't connect but, I saw a replay on Instagram, and it was a clear baseball swing. The fact that they didn't give him 5 for the slash is insane.

Impressive Windsor victory with their 4th straight win,5 unbeaten in regulation, now
4-0-1 and 6-1-1 in their last 8.
Interesting stat re tonight's 7-2 blowout,14 of Windsor's 18 skaters exclude the 2 tenders registered at least 1 point ,and 5 of them had multiple points, Potras (3),Greentree [3],Abraham (2),Woodall (2),Davis (2).
The only guys with 0 points tonight were Manzo,Mathurin, Garden and Martin.
Joey Costanzo was solid to record his 16th win of the season.
Spits were 3/8 on the PP,4 for 7 the last game vs Ottawa btw and 4/4 on the PK.
Team seems to be on a nice roll, not perfect of course but damn good in all areas.
Next game against Saginaw which is a week from this coming Sunday in Windsor,I would dress Winegard, Eichler and Gaymes, and rest Manzo, Hicks and Garden, not punishment but a statement against a dirty Saginaw team.

Eichler and Gaymes probably wish they weren't scratched today they wouldve had a bit of fun lol

I'm not sure it would have been a good thing. I like both players and appreciate what they bring, but I don't know that they wouldn't have started something unnecessary. There wasn't a situation where Windsor was in a definite disadvantage where having Eichler or Gaymes on the ice would have changed things for the better.

I agree to an extent. Would’ve loved to personally watch Gaymes go with someone tonight and Eichler lay a couple stiff checks in. But yeah, it may have balanced the penalty minutes some. Spits IMO played disciplined and made Saginaw look ridiculous. Feel for the kid that got stuck between the pipes for his first OHL game… I don’t think he’s even been on the bench for one before tonight.

Getting blown out by a division rival, that’s up 9 points on you… and you’re in second 1/3 into the season. Then you try and mix it up to get something going, and it feels like half the team is 6’4” 200+. Martin centering Garden and Lemeuix is a great place for him. Garden gets picked on a bit.
