Something else I’ve noticed, team has a brutal time clearing the zone, even when their within a few feet of the line.
Very tentative tonight, no offense to speak of and barely hanging on in their own zone. Very little body too. At this rate ill be hsppy if it stays close!

That was a frustrating 20 minutes. Froggett came to play but they had no sustained offence and far too many turnovers. I don't know what to think right now; this was a complete 180 from last night.

Rocky first & then got it together to play a solid all around game.Froggett was lights out tonight in a surprise start and he took full advantage in proving himself against a very good team over there in Kitchener.

Another defensive low scoring game and another win, didnt see to much of those tight low scoring games the last few sesons where we were on the ood side. Its nice to see this team succeeding and getting victories in different ways.

Another game tomorrow to finish off the 3 in 3, hope theres some gas in the tank for a good game tomorrow and close the weekend off with 6 points.

Good game Spits!!

Important division game Wednesday so I would lean Costanzo and then Froggett Friday.
Frogetts grooving, I’d give him Ottawa tomorrow. Back to Costanzo for Wednesday, then split them Friday/Saturday however. OS/Guelph are bottom two teams in the Conference.

Spitfires need a good game Wednesday, and honestly… they may be able to get by on mediocre hockey the other 3 games.. The next 8 days have a big 8 points on the line.

London also sees Saginaw/Ottawa but have the Pete’s and Kingston. While we have Guelph/OS.

Finishing 2nd would mean to reach the finals we’d likely see London and Kitchener and.. it wasn’t a dominating win tonight, but I also wouldn’t say I’d be scared to play Kitchener.

I bit my tongue and thought I'd wait for the entire game to be completed. Froggett outstanding 👏 the game could easily gott away in the 1st but Froggett started on time and big. Not sure what kind of strip Walters took off them in intermission but boy did they respond. The best thing about the last 2 games is they won playoff style hockey. You only need enough goals to win and prevent enough not to lose. I am hopeful they come out tomorrow with urgency as if they are playing a 1st place team. Getting 6 points this 3 in 3 would be a terrific way to end the miscues and lack of effort we've seen recently going into the weekend. Yes we still need some D men but damm that was sweet!

Spits now 4--1-1 in their last 6 games after tonight's win and 4 of the 6 have been on the road.
Great game by Froggett his best in a Spitfires jersey in a regular season game by far,2nd straight start where he allowed only 1 goal against.
In fact the team excluding the Sudbury debacle have only allowed 5, 5 on 5 goals against in those 5 games, credit to team defense and goaltending.
Tonight nice to see Windsor go 1-3 on the PP and 4-4 on the PK, also good some offensive contributions from those who have struggled lately, namely Greentree, Protas, Nesbitt, Morneau and Spellacy.
All in all very pleased after a slow start re 1st period,Windsor was the better team the last 2 periods and deserved the win.
Looking forward to tomorrow's game vs Ottawa in Windsor boys should be on a high after defeating 2 -1st place division teams Barrie and Kitchener on back to back nights and allowing only 2 goals total and utilizing both goalies to boot.
Go Spits Go
