Medina again..
You pick out 1 name or word out of 100s of words in my post, did I post any incorrect info.
Seems like every time you post it's one theme defense yet Windsor finished in 1st this year and last for not only the division but the conference.
Talk about ad nauseum

If Dionico gets 5 games, that's more than Pinelli got for his dirty cross check to the back of Abrahams neck which caused serious injury. League has turned into a joke.

BTW, Windsor Star articles states it might be a suspension, it's being reviewed. Its not an auto 5 games.
I think it’s more because they care more about injury to fans then players. I always thought that if a player does something dirty they should be out as long as the player they injured. If no injury then it a suspension of 2-5 games.

Personally that is crazy. The league needs to put the situation in context of what is happening. Anger motivated etc. Foam puck to a fan should not be a suspension imo. Unfortunately I'm not Branch lol.
You can’t be firing anything from the ice surface into the stands is the example. Which makes sense for multiple reasons, most importantly to owners and the league…liability. The result of such actions could be serious. I was at a game once with a friend and a puck fired into the crowd caused him to spill nearly half a beer.

No doubt the ship has sailed on Medina. The unfortunate thing still stands that he could have been our back up goalie or even starter. He started the season here. It is one bad decision that I hold more on Savard than Bowler as it seemed the Savard and Medina could not see eye to eye last year. At the end up of the day, Medina is gone and we are all hoping JC can play every game now. If he goes down, I'd be shocked if Onuska suddenly picks it up. Savard has gone way out on a limb playing Onuska based on " owing him the chance " it just proves who's decision it was keeping Onuska. Onuska will be called upon at some point if we go deep and I pray he has a miraculous turn around. We will need it.

Just because a player is gone doesn't mean he is forgotten ,and secondly there are things you post repeatedly that we have to put up with is what it is I guess,u wont change nor will I.

Focus on this team...
Most have forgotten except a select few.
Can't let go of favorites I guess..

Except in the post you quoted it was written up as a comparative stat from year to year team wise not stand alone discussion in other words you causing trouble.

However u see fit to bring in Medina to the conversation...
Focusing on this team should be more priority..

Given the video shows Dionicio flipping the puck, versus firing it, that might help his case. It was stupid and out of frustration so I can see a game or two, but five seems extreme right now.

Who cares who's brought up? If I'm talking about OA seasons, is it okay if I bring up Luchuk? Y'all keep going back and forth but for the weirdest reasons.

Some thoughts on Christopoulos. 50 goals is a significant milestone, however, it is just a number. It is just 1 goal more than 49. If he had scored a meaningless goal last night, it wouldn't have changed a thing for the team. His 47th, 48th and 49th goals were huge and won the team the Championship.

The other point on Christo is that many posters on this board (including me) viewed him as just depth when he was acquired.

Many of the same posters (including me) thought the price was way too high for Maggio.

I wonder if these are the reasons that we post on this board instead of running a club. I would gladly accept a GM postion, but no one ever calls. LOL.

I didn't expect Christo to have a 30 goal season, let alone 49. He's done wonders since coming over and I hope he gets a chance at an OA season with us.

Maggio playing with Johnston and Cuylle, combined with his time in Sweden, was one of the best things to happen to him. The trade didn't look great at the time but I don't think many here (if any) would refuse that again.

I’m still of the belief that they did overpay for Maggio. Maggio went 5 picks after Spits pick in 4th round. They easily could have gotten him with last pick in 4th round. Instead they wait a year and send 2 2nds for him. Imagine having those 2nds to use in other deals building this team.

I hope they trade him before the season starts while his value is high. Who knows what kind of season he will have on a rebuilding team.

This becomes the big question - who do you sell and who do you keep? Will his value be higher for Windsor or another club?
I think he would have great value for a club going for the ohl title. My hope would be to move christo before season and recoup picks and hope a couple of OAs we keep have a terrific year and can be moved by the deadline.

I personally don't think next year's team although rebuilding will be that bad. Depending if imports Dionicio and Sobolev are returned, trading other OAs for players or picks. The group of rookies, OA possibilities and JC alone make the group potentially quite strong. Maybe not a 1st place year but 4th place is realistic imo. Keep the momentum rolling. Other than our 3 OAs and Wright gone, Sobelev , Dionicio, Harrison 50/50 . Could be surprising. The draft class being so successful this year makes rebuilding a whole lot easier.

That's one thing Savard said around the deadline was having Cristoforo, Spellacy, and Greentree allowed them to not worry (as much) about hitting a home run in the upcoming draft. That said... losing that much offence is going to sting a bit. I don't expect the youngins to produce at the same level, at least not right away.

I dont think Windsor will be rebuilding after this season, especially knowing 2 teams from the O are playing in the Mem Cup,the host team and 1 other.
Projection wise this team looks pretty good at early glance.
With the season pretty much over, regular season I mean I have done have projected look at goals returning by returning players for each team in both conferences and Windsor has the 2nd most goals returning at plus 200,I projected Peer,Maillet, Christopoulos as returning OAs for Windsor with Holmes,Sobolev and Jodoin not included but being dealt for various assets.
Sudbury was #1 by the way a few goals.
Along with the 3 OA forwards, you have Abraham, Smith,Greentree, Morneau,Spellacy, Castle, and I expect Martin,Davis, Jack Dean, to make up the starting 12
In goal you have Costanzo and Carter Froggett, with Tye Altiman being the 3rd goalie,Costanzo and Altiman would be 18,and Frogett 17.
On the D you have Dionicio, Christoforo, Deangelis, and Woodall for starters
While the draft board is very light,1st rounder then nothing to the 6th,it will incumbent to draft smart especially 1st rounders in all 3 drafts, Entry draft, Euro draft,U18 ,2nd rounder in Euro draft, and 2nd and 3rd picks in U17.
As well target 17 and 18 year old free agents more strongly, last year's draft has already got 5 signed, with Dean and Frogett both 6th rounders probably signing, and there might be 1-3 others signed,1 or 2 and a forward.
This past draft I think will yield the best and most talent in years.
You can and would get picks for the OAs I would advise on moving, also talk to American players who be could be picked in 6th and 7th rated higher but will make team here.
Need to hit a homerun in the Euro draft at the D spot work with NHL teams here and get an 18 guy in here.
I am well aware what I am proposing will not be favorable to all,and admittedly were it not for a strong draft this year, the ability for Bowler to make good trades, find free agents Peer is one, heck McManus has been good too, wish he was an 04,would play here next year,I would think rebuild not so much with the expected return lineup and prospects.

Greentree, Peer Harrison (possibly) Castle, Smith all being highlighted will make up for Maggio. Christopoulis 50 plus? Healthy Abraham for a whole season. Offense shouldn't be a issue.
Harrison has signed with Boston, Maillet stays here in my view.
