We needed Rinne to step up in this game and he did. Now going to have to do that come game 7. Also thought for the most part the guys played better in front of Rinne and were good about clearing the puck out of our zone and keeping on their man/didn't give them much time and space.
Like I've been saying, you gotta give him a game to steal first. The guys played as they should defensively and scored enough to win. Yeah he let one in, on the PP and on a series that should have been cleared.
For the most part the guys did much better at putting sticks in the way and blocking. The couple of break downs they had Rinne covered.
We've asked Lavi to adjust and tonight he did by beating Anaheim at their own game. Play solid defensive hockey and see what happens.
Also helps they didn't any weird crazy goals tonight.
