He didn't get slashed on the glove. The glove and stick brushed against each other as they both made a play on the incoming puck. Wolf had a chance to control the puck. He fumbled it. And all that has zero relevance to the bad call that reversed the goal. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
The picture and video evidence supports my position. Not the first wrong call made by the NHL, and it won't be the last.

watch the movement of wolf glove... before the hit it was just a normal movement but oops when tavares hit his glove, his glove change of direction...
If Wolf who just lost possession of the puck, the puck would just fall on the ice and not turning his glove in the worst side possible and get puck bouncing on the air the way his was positionning. The fact he's turned his glove that way is just the result of contact with Tavares stick
