As i was afraid of he had a off game and the other did not compensate. They need to next game. And never play Holmberg as lw on second line ever. I like what he can bring on bottom 6. Not on 2nd line. Rather have mcmann , he could find his groove there.

I know Tavares scored last night, but he really is a 3C at this point. The lack of speed to keep up is VERY noticable.

That seems like a reasonable assumption, but not all of them show up every year in the playoffs the way Nylander does.

As I've been saying for a few years now, playoff Nylander is money in the bank. I know you hate to see it, but I think it's safe to say that for most of us it's a good thing, and his stellar play is one of the main reasons that we're in round 2 and leading the current series against the defending Cup Champions.

And for the record, I believe Matthews and Marner have the ability to elevate their level of engagement because I’ve seen it in fits and starts. We all have.

Matthews is limitated but he doesn’t look like he laccs any effort in my opinion he’s not Matthews at his best but at this point it’s like beating a dead horse
