That was kinda my point lol, obviously an exaggeration but their playoff performances leave a lot to be desired.

They are looking a bit more like sidekicks than superheroes, but they aren't the badguys.

Ok, the skill on these Willy goals are absolutely insane. The hands on game 1 goal 2 and game 2 goal is top 5 hands in the NHL level. Really only McDavid jumps out as way better.

Get him a real LW2 like Pats is for this playoffs. A defensive passing centre who can still score, and I think he could break 120 points easily.

I expect Tavares will be back and IMO that's fine. I don't care about 120 points, I just want him to bring it in the playoffs and he always does. JT is also really strong defensively which is good so ... I used to think those two were like oil and water, not a good fit. Looks like I was wrong and I'm quite happy with the way things are now.

I think you're on to something - JT/Nylander are maybe just fine as a combo so it's just a matter of finding that 3rd wheel that fits and for now, it seems like we've found him. Max Pac hasn't hurt, that's for sure.

I think we have seen this movie too many times to not finally say its not so much the injuries that keep Matthews from dominating as much as it is a mental problem. Willy seems like he can handle the big stage..the other 2...not so much. AM seems mentally crippled when it comes to playoffs. He missed an empty net from the opponents blue line...even Kampf would have scored that one.

I think it’s more mental than physical. He’s not playing in peak form and could be hurt you don’t need generational skills to score every goal in spectacular fashion. He’s just got the yips in close, shooting wide and gripping the stick. Maybe he’s got defensive responsibilities on the brain too. Hopefully with a lot of his teammates going right now he’ll be dragged up by everyone else and find his offense starting in Florida.
