William Nylander

only person bringing consistent offence to the games

marner is good too, but the centers have been horrific at it. JT hasn't looked good for the past 5 games or so and Matthews has becoming philip danault

if he was at his normal offensive play, we'd probably be golfing rn but he has stepped up huge

I am just afraid this production aint sustainable, we need more from Matthews(and automaticly we will get more from Mitch).

How people can dislike this guy I don't know. I guess if you are judging him based on some lazy plays in January than sure. He might even be this team's emotional leader. If he is our best player in a long playoff run, than they should probably give him the captaincy and I'm serious here.

In thebpast personally the comxern i had with Nylander was the time he took shift off in the defensive end waiting for his teammate making play.

This season, it's not the case anymore and i think a huge part of it come to Berube.

Remembered me when Trotz goes in Washington and been able to show to guy like ovy than if they want to win in playoff, its starting with working hard in D, stay patient and scoring chance will come to you. Majority of their goal started with a pretty good defensive play. I think Pacioretty is also an amaizing fit with him and JT... For me it's the biggest difference... Better in defensive end so he's able to get even more good scoring chance and so he can do what he's doing the best.

The best way to get closer of a cup was to get everybody step up and playing good hockey and that's exactly what's happening right now

I used to think using the Chicago model, Marner was gonna be the Kane of the group. Boy was I wrong, Willy is our Kane.
As it stands right now atleast Knies-Matthews-Marner is a pretty good rendition of the Sharp-Toews-Hossa line, with Matthews obviously being no Toews.

What is amazing about Nylanders goal 1.... is he collides with the Panther player in his zone...and immediately he digs his feet in from 0 km/hr to be on the 2vs1.

Balance and strength to stay on his feet when running into the opponent.

The persistence, determination and excelleration to get back in the play and make it a 2vs1.

Whenever you watch playoff goals alot of them are the second and third efforts.

Marners goal...

Knies wins a board battle on the left side of the ice by physically separating the Panther defender off the puck.... the puck dislodged to Matthews and IMMEDIATELY Knies high tails it to the front of the net...just in time to screen Bob on the tight side of the net on the shot by Marner.
