It is the equivalent of "Marner has 4 goals and 0 assists over 4 games, he needs to set more people up as a primary playmaker". Doesn't that sound wild to you?
I know you have no intention of actually holding any meaningful discussion, which is why you keep dodging me, but Ill ask one last time. Is a goal more valuable than an assist?

I think that's the question he was asking you, as Nylander is the only one you singled out.
I actually agree with you - he's our best player, and despite less ice time (both at ES and PP) and playing on the second line, he still should be leading the team.
(Did you notice that three of the four players actually leading the team in goals are mainly doing it because of his setups?)
Actually, all of Nylanders assists are primary. Marners are mainly secondary

He is good enough, for a 2nd line player , playing with a 3rd 4th line LW and way to slow center(but JT been realy good overall).

That’s the key as first line players playing on the 2nd line they need to exploit that.

He looked off tonight, but on the whole since September I don't think his skating/speed is any lesser than it was in the past

Yes happened a while ago. He is normal NHL speed now. No extra step anymore.

Well, isn’t that the case for your whole core then? At least Nylander created two goals out of nothing in game 5 which forced OT - what did the first line, except Knies, do? I don’t see you in Matthews and Marner’s thread spewing this nonsense, so it’s quite obvious what you’re trying to do?

Agreed. I don't get all these guys with their pitchforks for other players trying to parse out his completely lacklustre playoffs. He's been bad, we need more. Content to curl away and not hard enough winning pucks. Willie doesn't get a pass because of his flow, he's part of the problem, on the PP too.
