It's easy to see Nylanders incredible skill, flawless stride, head up all the time and even though he's not physical, he's incredibly strong on the puck and protects it maybe better than anyone with his body. That 1st goal was a prime example of his ability to protect the puck... he literally runs into a defender with his shoulder, stops momentarily, and then starts skating again before shooting the puck with his head up.

Nylander's puck protection is tops on the team. Marner would have been bumped off the puck on contact, Nylander just rolled off the check. Another part of Nylander's game and even in post game playoff scrums, he is calm and doesnt feel the moment is too big. This can calm his team down when they look at him always unphased, very confident with the puck.

Reminds me of prime Sundin. Nobody could take the puck from Mats once he turned his back.
