Probably the best first round in years, two of the most stacked lineups in the league, do they win the cup?

It's gonna be Central vs Atlantic, so I'd say 50/50 based on the poll options, my actual answer is like 25% chance. They'd have to get past Winnipeg and obviously the cup final after.

I mean we are also looking at Florida- Tampa match up

Dallas is a tough one, they are winning games but they aren’t really impressing you. They are lacking that extra gear right now, maybe getting Heiskanen back could be that

Right now more faith in Colorado to be able to get to the finals and get it done, Vegas is going to be a tough one to beat

Field over 2 teams, especially when field contains very strong 3-5 contenders equal to DAL/COL Imo...

Plus I've never fully believed in this edition of Dallas. Same as I never believed in Hurricanes in the East. Won't be surprised if neither of these teams will win the cup with current core (though both might win of course).

they both have a good shot but there is like 4 other teams who have a good shot too. so short answer maybe.

So Dallas + Colorado vs the field?

I take the field over any combo of 2 teams, let alone 2 that immediately have to play each other.
Yep. I mean, this is literally just a probability question. The field is obviously more likely to win than DAL/COL.

Bizarre poll.

That said, I do think COL is the best team in the West.

Odds are they don't just based off numbers. I do think they are the two favorites in a vacuum, but that bracket is going to beat the daylights out of each other.

The central in general is just disgusting going into the playoffs. The Jets might be the coldest team in the top 4 with a paltry 10-4 record in the last month.

Maybe, but my sources tell me a team that wins their first round matchup will go on to win the cup.

Haven't been informed of Colorado, or Dallas, but the situation is fluid and one bad call can change everything

I think they’re the three best teams in the league, but I’d take the field. Vegas, Edmonton, Tampa, Florida, WSH, Carolina, and Toronto are all nearly as good, and 1/3 of the central teams will survive to the conference finals.

This is shades of the Stars vs. Knights last playoffs..

Stars were the heavy heavy favourite vs. the Oilers but they looked gassed by round 3. I hope the same thing happens lol

Could be three series like this. Three fantastic teams could go down first round:

Dallas Colorado (maybe Winnipeg)
St Louis Las Vegas
Florida Tampa (maybe Toronto instead of either)

Avs-Stars should be a WCF matchup which just shows you how bad the current seeding structure is.

Right now it’s more like Vegas- Colorado that should be

Dallas looks way off and this late in the season
