The game in St Louis reminded me of the Colorado Avalanche series a year ago. The defence was atrocious. Hellebuyck has turned into a pumpkin. The team lacks spark. At the point, even if Vilardi and Ehlers were playing, I doubt the needle will move.

I predict the Blues will win by at least 3 goals on Sunday, and never look back. Binnington is clutch, and the Blues own the Jets. Blues in 6. you heard it here.

Helle cant do it all, Binningtons not doing much better btw, there's a lot of good goalies with terrible stats right now. Pretty negative attitude I'd say for 3 games in and winning 2-1

The top 3 vezina finalize are all bottom 5 😅

At least its not left wing lock playoff hockey.

Didn’t know until today from 2001-2010 The highest playoff point scorer was Patrik Elias.
If you look at other decades its the best of the best… in hockey history.

The difference between the team this year vs Bowness' team last year (at least the regular season) is when they shit the bed like they did in game 3 they came back and played a great Winnipeg Jets game the next one, almost every time.

The team would go on streaks last year where this year of poor details, this year they slipped then got right back to their game.

So I'm expecting (and hoping) for that same thing in game 4 and a Jets win.

I think you should consider changing your ID name, you're proving to be anything but with this take. My prediction is that your post will not age well and I'm going to take immense pleasure in bring it up when that happens.

To quote Oddball, “Always with the negative waves, Moriarity,”

Right? I'm having a tantrum so I'm going to post a new thread as a thinly veiled question to get attention.

This could have easily just on a post in the series thread

I'm guilty as well as I started a "Why didn't we trade Ehlers before the deadline thread", even though I secretly like watching the guy play for the Jets.

Are LA and Washington fans starting panic threads after their teams also shit the beds in their respective game threes and gave up 6-7 goals? It's almost like taking a 3-0 lead in a 7 game series is actually hard to do when the opposing team's backs are against the wall and the series shifts to their home ice. Even the Toronto-Ottawa series could easily be 2-1 Ottawa if OT had gone differently for Ottawa the last two games.

Granted Capitals have a legitimate reason to panic if their #1 goalie is out.

What I thought was interesting about game 3 is how similar it was to game 3 against the wild in 2018. We lost 6-2 in that one, terrible all around. Then in game 4 it was a close one, much different performance by the Jets, with helly coming right back with a shutout. And then we know how game 5 at home went. I think game 3 this year at times had moments where the game could have reverted to being closer and it didn’t, and then it simply got out of hand. I expect a different story in game 4 tomorrow. Jets aren’t happy with the game 3 performance and I expect they’ll be prepared with a different mindset for game 4. Still have jets in 5 or 6 winning this series. Time will tell.

Oilers beat panthers 8-1 in game 4 last year. Panthers still won the series. One bad game can get out of hand but at the end of the day it’s one game, goal differentials don’t get you extra wins. And they don’t mean much in small sample sizes.
