One takeaway that first pp unit with TDA on it you can see a clear difference in how they move the puck compared to when burns is on it. TDA needs to be in the lineup for that alone whether you gotta go 11 and 7 for that to happen then I think it’s a must. I like giving TDA a shift here and there to give burns a rest. I would like to see them move pesce and go Slavin TDA burns orlov skjei chatfield

3rd line productivity but more points than our top 2 on the trip.
No they are our 4th line. 48-11-71 are 3rd line for life. They can do nothing wrong. Don’t matter if they don’t score goals or do anything…….they skate fast all over ice doing nothing = guaranteed ice time.

Burn's is useful when he's getting shots through. Unfortunately, for whatever reason he just isn't this season.

I agree. TDA should be shifted every other shift with 74. Burns is tired and it shows,.
I don’t love the 11 and 7 cause now one injury like tonight and you’re down to 10 but TDA needs to play because of the PP alone. Peace still looks slow I’d move him now either for a forward or assets to acquire a forward

He’s doing a TON of back foot just flicks on net. Like trying to get the puck away super fast but really in reality doing nothing.

Marty being out of line up is probably net positive at this point. Good team guy, but a total offensive black hole.

Edit: I hope he is ok. Nothing against the guy.

He is but they move the puck quicker with TDA. TDA can move side to side quicker than burns can at this point in his career. There’s a glaring difference between the way the unit operates with burns and TDA

like to see the numbers when TDA is on the pp and when he’s not. But watching with my 2 own eyes from last game to just a minute of that first pp there was way more puck movement and not as much standing still

I dont think its up for debate TDA is pretty good on the PP. Its his 5v5 that keeps him off the ice.
Exactly If him on the PP is a net +.7 GPG. and he defensively is a net -.10 GPG.. He's not worth having.. NOTE This can apply for lots of canes right now..
