How many points did the "Perfection" line put up against St Louis in 2019?
But, yeah ... let's blame the goalie ...

Can't see him choosing Bruins over Leafs or Rangers if he left Edm but who knowsI still say Sweeney should punt 2025-26 and go all in for McDavid next summer
I would rather tank another season then waste cap with deals they will regret later. They need to wait till that centre comes available.Want to spend on another top 6 winger fine, but don't just spend till it's gone.Saw that movie twice.
Yea and on panel 2 Saturdays ago that idiot was saying do you think Marchand is a HOF player? Guy Carbonneau not mentioned though.Glorified shot blocker. Most goals in a season he ever scored was 26 I believe. To lazy to look up those HOF stats![]()

If he spent his career in Buffalo nobody would ever have considered him HOF worthy.

You can be overrated and still be in the HOF……
Guy Carbonneau prime example.
Marchand or Carbonneau?
Exactly. Carbonneau had a slightly better career than Steve Kasper, and nobody in history ever mentioned the words "Steve Kasper" and "Hall of Fame" in the same sentence, unless it was "No way in hell should Steve Kasper be considered for the Hall of Fame". But that fraud Carbonneau wore a toilet seat, so he's in.
Jeff Gorton already has the Habs in a playoff spot.
Care about what, bailing or not winning a cup.The voters don't care about that. Barely any fans do either.
Not to argue for or against Cabnneau, but how quickly 3 Sellkes, and 3 Stanley cups, are brushed aside, oh ok he did not ply in Boston, where everyone belongs in the Hall of Fame.Carbonneau -- Marchand is a complete player.
It’s year 4 and they’re not in yet so I’d hold off on the “already” qualifier I’d think.Jeff Gorton already has the Habs in a playoff spot.

You really hit the nail on the head, 4 -40 goal seasons, 4 - 90 point seasons, negative is the lack of a cup, is that hurting him and a Keith Tkachuk, and Rick Middleton...........Either.
Talking about the player. Carbonneau was one dimensional. Propp more well rounded and much better offensively than Carbonneau.
The difference between Propp's offense and Carbonneau's was miles and miles bigger than the difference between Carbonneau's defense and Propp's.

Personalities and politics enter in a lot this, and it is sad, pure bullshit in my eyes.Yup --- but then you've got the Michel Goulet's and Paul Kariya's (among others) without cups, but with similar stats to them and Propp.
I would say yes if somebody offered me free childcare and a steak dinner date on Friday night.I would trade a Swayman for the 1rst overall pick
On my death bed I'll probably be railing about Nifty not being in the HOF. I maintain that if there is no Too Many Men penalty and the B's close out game 7 in 1979, MIddleton's goal is the one that breaks the curse, the B's beat the Rags to win their 3rd Cup in the 70's, and he is in the HOF.You really hit the nail on the head, 4 -40 goal seasons, 4 - 90 point seasons, negative is the lack of a cup, is that hurting him and a Keith Tkachuk, and Rick Middleton...........

To Don Cherry's credit he never named the player responsible, but that was tough. Everyone around here getting their panties in bunch about Marchand being disrespected, but no one was more disrespected more than Middleton, 12 point away 1000 and Harry cuts him, ownership had a say in that I am sure.On my death bed I'll probably be railing about Nifty not being in the HOF. I wouldn't say that.
Propp wasn't even a center. Not even a Selke level winger. Carbonneau was one of the very best shutdown centers in NHL history,
Steve Larmer another LW that belongs in the Hall if Propp does.
