I personally think that he will be traded by 2020. He wants to win a Cup that badly.
There's a bit in his contract to stop the Rangers from moving him. He shouldn't be moved. Hank will retire before playing anywhere else.
The Rangers (still) have the most consistent goaltender of all time. To me, there's less than a 2% chance that this team finishes 25-31 if he's healthy. I wouldn't be surprised if they're on the playoff bubble in January if things fall into place the right way. I don't think they'll get in, but I think they'll surprise some people around here.
Well...did you watch that charity game in Norway a month ago? Hank allowed 7 goals, 4 of them scored by Zucc. Ouch...Hank got his feelings hurt![]()
If Hank could find a team already the favorite to win the cup like Bourque did with Colorado then Hank should go for it...For now, I think that Lundqvist wants to stay with the Rangers. But after another season or two of not making the playoffs, he will want one Stanley Cup before retiring. At that point, he will ask to be traded.
Who would have thought that the Bruins would end up trading Ray Bourque after 21 seasons?
