I hope so. Didn’t find many goalies entertaining but Quick is an exception.

definitely noticed a lot more 'athletic' goaltenders naming Quick as their favorite goalie in youth leagues after that

The fairest comparison is Rogie Vachon, who eventually got in, and Quick literally beat all of his Kings records. If we’re talking first ballot, on no planet was Roberto Luongo more deserving.

Saying he was “robbed” in 2012 when Lundqvist had a higher SV% and more wins is kind of insane.

Quick was more deserving of the Hart than the Conn Smythe or Vezina, in my opinion. He carried the 30th ranked offense (up until the TDL, which became the 29th or so) to the playoffs is pretty noteworthy.

By the time the playoffs came, the team was gelling. He had good numbers, but Kopitar, Brown, and Doughty all had great playoffs too.

And to answer the question, he undoubtedly belongs in the HHoF.

The style of pad Quick uses is actually super old school. They're soft and flexible, almost a modern day descendant of the old 1980s pads.

By contrast, most goalies now use the hard, light, flat faced pads popularized by Lundqvist
