Quick was more deserving of the Hart than the Conn Smythe or Vezina, in my opinion. He carried the 30th ranked offense (up until the TDL, which became the 29th or so) to the playoffs is pretty noteworthy.Saying he was “robbed” in 2012 when Lundqvist had a higher SV% and more wins is kind of insane.
The style of pad Quick uses is actually super old school. They're soft and flexible, almost a modern day descendant of the old 1980s pads.Quick was also using the smaller pads before they made it mandatory to support his aggressive playstyle.
