Will Filip Mesar achieve his ceiling of becoming an NHL 1st Line Center?

Absolutely underrated player by his own fanbase.

Scored 4 pts in his first OHL game ever then had a mediocre scoring output "on paper" the remainder of the year.
The following year he was averaging 2 PPG in the first 20 games and had a great WJC camp and superb Playoff production, he was heads and shoulders the best player of his team.

In hist first "real" AHL game he scored 3 pts. He's currently a PPG player in the AHL with 5 pts in 5 games playing on the third line with 2 other rookies.

He's out for 2 months due to an injury.

He's technically listed as a RW but i have always personally see him as a 1st Line Center and playing 1st PP wave minutes

He’s been a disappointment. Not really a 3rd/4th line type and certainly doesn’t have the talent to be a 1st liner. So imo, it’s a low end 2nd liner or bust. More likely a bust.
