Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

I've said it before, I think McGroarty is going to be a Dustin Brown type of player.

Average skater, physical, good intangibles, 20-30 goal scorer and 50-60 point player. I think that's his potential.
I feel like Brown was an above average skater early in his career but I could be misremembering.

Both teams looked bad in OT and shootout. I liked Broz’s attempt but he still got stopped. Poulin scores in the shootout to win it.

Murashov was meh. McGroarty 1+1. Koivunen played well. Aside from the shootout Poulin didn’t have a great game. Flubbed a 3-on-1.

Avery Hayes with a nice move to put WBS up 4-3. Sign this guy already!

The way this is going another team is going to sign him to a NHL deal. Is the reason that he isn't a Sullivan two-way player?

Small crowd too

I'd take that in a heartbeat. Kings fans loved Brown.

Game goes to a shootout. Murashov stops all five shooters he sees. Poulin finally breaks through for the winner.

Anyone who signs him has to start his NHL contract now. At this stage of the year, most teams want contracts that will start in 2025-26.

They seem pretty high on Hayes. They were very patient with him last year through injuries and him being extremely snakebit offensively until the last few weeks in the season. To just let him walk after that patience pays off wouldn’t make sense. I’m betting they’ve agreed on a deal and they’re just waiting for the season to end to put pen to paper? He’s a legit prospect, not sure he’s going to be a regular NHLer but right now he’d be a perfectly viable call up if he was on an NHL deal.

Don’t see any issues with his D. In fact I think that’s why they were so patient with him, when he wasn’t scoring he was still being hard on the board plays in his own zone. Blocking shots, making certain pucks got out, etc.

There is no reason outside of Sullivan’s weird requirements that Sam Poulin should not be in the NHL right now.

Good shout. Brown has more grit to his game. But similar A+ personality.

Deserted Penguin posted a recap of Dubas being on the radio and Dubas apparently said he doesn't want to call up guys for cameos and is hoping to bring up WBS players in a wave and let them kinda grow together.

We'll see how serious they are about that this off season when Dubas signs like eight hundred Noel Acciaris in the name of "competition".

Yeah, and I think Poulin is one of those guys who is viewed as a leader in WBS who can then help shepherd the young, more talented players like Koivunen and McGroarty up to the Pens. So they may want those two to come up with him, even if they're not on the same line, so they have a familiar trusted face to turn to.
