  • We're expecting server maintenance on March 3rd starting at midnight, there may be downtime during the work.
Caught periods 1 and 3.

McGroarty with a nice play to setup Calvert for his 1st in the AHL. Earlier he had a 2-on-1 but the pass just missed to someone.

McGroarty has been more physical than I can recall in earlier viewings.

Broz is faster than advertised.

Another shutout for Larsson.
It's nice to see both Calvert and Matty DE St. Phalle playing in WBS right now. I've read that both were playing great down in Wheeling.

Don't know enough about the head coach for the WB team but it appears he has a nice future hint hint with the Pens. Dubas has to rebuild and that has to include a new head coach.

Koivunen with a snipe coming into the zone off a nothing rush. Gave just enough of a look off to get the stick out of the lane and rip it. And yeah nice awareness on the Puustinen goal too.

Keep adding higher end talent in the next 2 drafts and what every Dubas can add with trades as well. Dubas had a farm system with little talent and has added significant talent to the system. Pens in a couple years will have a roster of young talent maturing and growing into good NHL caliber players with a deeper pool of players. Cap space will be there to then add as needed.

Koivunen seems to be consistently getting points.

Mcgroaty as well but not as much. Both are encouraging.

McGroaty has been coming on though. 10 pts in his last 8 games. Maybe it took a little adjustment period but he has been fantastic in this stretch.

Hopefully they get 2-3 legit players out of this current group of Pono, Hayes, McG, Broz and Koivunen.

As the season has progressed, McGroarty has been creating havoc on the forecheck, causing turnovers and leading those turned-over pucks into offensive chances.

He had been snakebit offensively, with only one goal in his previous 16 games, entering last weekend’s three-in-three in New England. But, a first-period tally on his first shift of the night Friday in Hartford appears to have opened the proverbial flood gates for him.
