Ballgame, 5-0 win. 36 saves for Larsson, who made some big saves in the second when the ice was tilted most of the period. Much more entertaining than NHL games, seems to have more space.

⭐⭐⭐ broz
⭐⭐️ mcg
⭐️ Larsson

Pickering oozes confidence with the puck even if production isnt there. Good decision making when to pinch or retreat. Top 6 worked well together, even if Bemstrom tried to dangle or go between the legs everytime he had the puck.

HF thanks for coming out youve been great, get home safe everyone!

I feel like this WBS team is the most talented team they’ve had in a good bit, between the young group of prospects and the AHL veterans they have. It’s not a high bar to clear but it’s still nice to see regardless.

Broz and Koivunen seem to be having especially notable showings so far, it’s really good to see. Larsson is also doing a great job as well, I’d be fully supportive of them trading Nedjelkovic for a pick and running with Jarry-Blomqvist and Larsson-Murashov-Gauthier as the NHL and AHL goalie groups.

Poulin has been having a strong year as well. He is doing it while being ask to play all situations and be a leader on the team.

A lot of WBS Vets are still pretty young too.

It's good to see guys like Broz, Koivunen, McG, and Pickering playing well. Hope Pono can find a rhythm now that he's back and healthy. Don't think any of these guys are big impact players or dudes who will post significant point totals at the NHL level, but it'd be awesome to have supporting cast guys in place for when this team starts landing the foundational prospects with the top-3ish picks they'll have in short order. It's really important to be able to start going for it shortly after you draft guys like that because ELCs are huge for filling out the roster.

Really good looking PPs so far. The NHL Pens could learn something from these guys
It's funny to think the Pens powerplay was ranked 10th a couple of games ago and is now 15th.

I wonder how much this drops by the end of November where it'll be hard to climb back up.

Thank goodness for Koivunen not being an idiot like Bemstrom who suddenly thought he was Sidney Crosby in his prime trying to knife through 3 players lol.

This was one of the main reasons I am pissed about how Sullivan uses players like Puustinen. Or how he's failed to use Gruden, Hallander (straight up said f*** this and left), etc. You have the opportunity to use players on cheap contracts that will give you more than the no talent veteran grinder the coach wants that costs 2-3x more. Gives you more cap to work with to fill other more glaring areas.

Ah well, why do we even bother? I'm sure by 27 when Rutger has learned how to be as good as Noel Acciari, he'll finally get his chance again.
