Bednar had some interesting comments on Kylington after the game.
I’m not sure what to make of them yet.

Calls him high event and specifically calls out some of his mistakes tonight, says he was the cause for 2 of Minnesota’s 3 most dangerous chances. Then compliments his offensive play. Says some of it may come down to rust.
I can’t determine if Bednar actually liked how he played or envisions him being a guy he can trust in the playoffs.

It's sickening how little recognition Toews receives. He leads the team in 5v5 ice time tonight with 23 mins and finishes with the 2nd best xGF% at 58% behind Colton, not a word said about him. He's incredibly reliable at a great price, appreciate Devon Toews.
