Yurov joins the top group with Rossi, Wallstedt and Lambos.

Ohgren is the clear best of the next group with Addison, Faber, Khusnutdinov, ROR, Peart and Beckman.

Next is Hunt and a couple of the new guys that I like: Healey, Lorenz and Petrovsky.

Then everybody else.

What separates Lambos from Ohgren and Faber?

Enough people saying that Lambos "should have" been a top 15 pick when he was picked. Not quite the same reaction for Ohgen, though I actually like him plenty. That's also why I have Yurov up there.

I guess I need to watch more closely to Faber this year than I have the last couple years to see what that's all about. Nothing really jumped off the screen before.

I would put Faber ahead of Lambos.

May have a different opinion after developement camp.

Hrm, do I sense a theme:

"Liam is a two-way hard skilled winger," said Judd Brackett, Minnesota Wild Director of Amateur Scouting. "He has speed, power and a heavy shot."

"Hunter is a high tempo, right shot two-way center that can score and has a great hockey IQ,"

"Michael is a 19-year-old, two-way forward that can play center and wing," said Brackett. "He's highly competitive, versatile and a finisher."

"David is a thick body, two-way defenseman, that can generate offense from the back end," said Brackett.

"Servac is a smart, two-way center with good hands and a strong motor," said Brackett.

Then again:

"Danila is a power forward that skates well and has a terrific shot," said Brackett.

"Rieger is a 6'2" offensive winger with a heavy shot and quickness out of the corners," said Brackett.

"Ryan is an elite skater and puck mover, who can quarterback the power play," said Brackett.

Shooting, two way ability and good skating is what this team is looking for.

I'm just glad being able to play hockey well is a requirement for the current draft team: no more big goofs that they hope will learn to play the game, a la Gabriel, Bulmer, Gillies, Kassian,

Better than when they used to look for "big" and "tall". Right?

Are we going by upside or what we think they'll likely become? If it's upside I'd put Wallstedt and Rossi up a tier, otherwise I agree.
