It’s just infuriating to watch a player play so poorly and not see and progression in his game and yet the coaches keep using him like his spot on the first pair and first PK unit is set in stone.

He’s just completely brutal all around. He’s been worse than Smith unquestionably. He’s making the same mistakes over and over again.

I just worry we have a non NHL caliber player, which is fine he was a UDFA whatever, but I worry the coaching staff is on the opposite end of the spectrum and think he’s doing great. It certainly seems that way with his usage and deployment.
I actually think he's getting showcased. :O

Of course McQuaid got hurt gorton deserves it too.

And Pionk is absolute trash

Lias played his best period of nhl hockey as far as I’m concerned

is there really that much *****ing about McQuaid playing?? McQuaid????? The guy who "goes to the locker room" every other period? And if we don't deal him, who's gonna miss that 5th rounder?

My goodness....the constant tanking/whining talk is astounding.
There is no place that 12th forwards, waiver wire pickups, and 6th round picks have more value and inspire more spittle than HFNYR.

First it seems the Rangers could be getting a 3rd rounder for Mcquaid.
Also its a stupid risk to take for a pointless game

Idk it really seems like they love him. I would cut bait and move him for sure, that might be the only way to keep these coaches from using him like a top pair guy.
He's apparently a really smart dude IRL and they're hoping something clicks with his in-game decision making. Seems like they're going the force feeding method.

Developmental coach gonna develop.

Putting Neal Pionk and Marc Staal out on the ice together and expecting positive results, is like putting Jeffrey Dahmer and a bunch of young boys in a room together and expecting companionship.
There is such a distasteful joke about keeping the area directly in front of the net free of traffic to be had here.

please stop....you think a 3rd rounder...others think other things. Bottom line is that if he plays well, the price might go up....cant see that from the press box.

And even if it is a 3rd rounder.....seriously, go back to whining about how they don't tank properly or its dumb to play other guys. Stay in your wheelhouse.

Yes so midway through the first. Nicoletti says the Rangers had possession of the puck for most of the first 10 minutes even though they only had two shots. yeah Joe, but possession doesnt necessarily equate to goals! You need shots on goal in order to get a goal..... so regardless of time of possession if you don't put the puck on the net it's not going to be a goal! all you have is momentum that sometimes adds up to zero if you don't put the puck on the net!
