Please, that's an insult to the old Rangers. The Wild haven't made it past the second round since 2003.

Their current run of 6 straight seasons making the playoffs, they've lost in the first round 4 times, including the last 3 years straight.

The Rangers may not have gotten it done, but in their contending window they only lost in the first round one time. 2 conference finals exits, one stanley cup finals exit, 2 2nd round exits. We were 3 wins from winning the Cup, the Wild have only won more than 3 games in a playoff season twice on their current run.
